Interesting to look back on this now that the Casey audit has said that the 2020 Home Office paper reached a conclusion which was not "evidenced in research and data" and that Cockbain's article about it was wrong to say claims of Pakistani over-representation had been debunked.

I’ve been asking the questions they desperately didn’t want asked.
Why were they so against CCTV in taxis?
Why were drivers allowed to be licensed hundreds of miles away?
Why did they protect loopholes that put children at risk?
Now the government’s own report confirms exactly what I’ve been saying:
🚖 Taxis were used to move and traffic children for abuse.
📉 96% of taxi licences in one area went to out-of-area drivers.
⚠️ “Unacceptable that local areas are unable to oversee and account for taxis on their streets.”
⚖️ “Drivers who are unscrupulous can apply to a lax neighbouring borough.”
They resisted cameras because cameras would have exposed what was really happening.
I was called extreme. I was smeared. But I told the truth.
Victims have waited too long for justice and those who covered this up should be held to account.
This isn’t over. Not by a long way.

In 2016, Police Scotland took down a Glasgow grooming gang which had 55 suspected members, *all of whom were asylum seekers*, and then kept it secret from the public. Victims were abused by more than 20 men. It was only exposed 4 years later after a Daily Express investigation.

I can’t believe the Government thinks it can exempt police, social workers, councillors, civil servants from the national rape-gangs inquiry.

The child rape gangs are not just Pakistani men, they are Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan. There is a connection between Islam and these crimes and we must NOT ignore that as we have done with ethnicity.

I often think about the fathers of the raped girls. The pain and suffering those men must have gone through knowing what was being inflicted on their little girls, but being unable to act. Indescribable.
Brainwashed is the word that has come up in our inquiry.
The girls were often turned against their own families, their own mothers and fathers.
Through gifts, alcohol, drugs and intimidation. A wicked physical and psychological cocktail of abuse, that was devastatingly effective and deployed to the level that a vast amount of coordination was involved.
Just imagine it was your child. Any man with a daughter will feel sick just thinking about it.
Fathers have spoken about how they themselves were arrested when attempting to rescue their daughters from the rapists.
Horrific. Just absolutely horrific.
Fathers put through genuine hell. I dread to think of the consequences.
We owe it to them all to keep this fight going.
