@FCDOGovUK supported @RemitPakistan project in collaboration with SDPI held a meeting with the Secretary, @Pak_MoIP of Industries and Production to deliberate about the upcoming National Industrial Policy. ReMIT and SDPI teams, briefed the Secretary and other stakeholders on the progress made so far which included in-depth consultation sessions with industry at association and chamber level. MOIP is seeking feedback from various federal and provincial departments to better align upcoming policy with existing initiatives. The Secretary stressed that comprehensive engagement with public stakeholders must be prioritized that in turn will result in a robust and effective implementation mechanism with clearly defined roles and domains for all stakeholders.
