I got a 9 on #blacklist with my spec sequel to Billy Elliot where the government goes hey this kid just won’t stop dancing, let’s weaponise this, and make him fight aliens. The reviewer said it’s Ender’s Game meets, well, Billy Elliot. It’s unproduceable because that kid got old.

Happy to see this reach a wider platform, but depressed by the comments, which misperceive this as a cash grab. My point, actually: When you buy the rights to a creative work, you don't buy authorship. You don't get to say that my ideas were your ideas.

You need to understand that the critics you’re responding to re bringing “AI” into digital film workflows, still think that you type “2 hour movie, Tom Cruise vs Brad Pitt, make it about something interesting”. They are creatively naive. Same people who ruined nft as distribution
