Day 2 of bio-hybrid swarm systems summer school at Middle East Technical University kicking off with @SwarmDynamics talking about natural plants as sensors and human-swarm interaction. @MetuRomer @lorenihas @EU_RoboRoyale
Heading back after a wonderful journey taking me to Atlanta (ICRA) and Detroit (AAMAS). Loved every inch of it, including discussions on Steiner trees with ETH Zurich folks just prior to boarding. @discoETH @openswarm_eu @SheffUniEng @TUDarmstadt

Welcome to Ecem Işıldar who joins our team as a doctoral researcher in human-swarm interaction. Ecem studied Control & Autom. Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and completed a Robotics Engineering master at University of Genoa @TUDarmstadt @Emergen_CITY #RIG
Excited our #AAMAS2025 paper has been selected as Best Paper Award finalist. It studies on-demand delivery with UAVs that learn their capabilities

Even had they arrived, there simply is no efficient way to mail documents back to Germany. At the last election UPS took 10 days to deliver (I had paid £100 for „guaranteed next day“ delivery). This time documents (of a friend) seem stuck in the German „Briefzentrum“.
Fantastic first day of Robotics Institute Germany meeting at @KITKarlsruhe discussing thematic clusters. Thanks to Tamim Asfour for hosting! #RIG #robotics
Thanks to Danny Hughes and Mengyao Liu from @KU_Leuven for stopping by earlier this week to talk about IoT innovations in swarm robotics & demoing battery-free CapBots, now up and running in our lab (with kind support by @openswarm_eu @CS_TUDarmstadt and emergenCITY)!
