How difficult should this be? Legislators, elected politicians & sitting politicians should be not be hosting news & current affairs programmes. It does not aid a better media, democracy or politics.

A majority of the 635 children held in Israeli prisons in 2025 were put in solitary confinement, usually for between one and two weeks â some up to eight times.
92 per cent of those children had not been sentenced.
A third had not even been charged with an offence.

Mothin Ali â apology and Correction
Â
On 18 July 2024, I published a post on my X account in which I stated that Mr Mothin Ali, an elected official and Deputy Leader of the Green Party, was involved in the Harehills riots of July 2024 in which people attacked the police.
Â
That statement was incorrect. In fact, Mr Ali was asked by the police to use his position of trust in the community to help bring about peace on the streets. Mr Ali attended the scene for that purpose alone. He was not involved in the disorder or violence in any way, and on the contrary he was one of the principal reasons of bringing an end to the disorder. I offer my sincere apologies to Mr Ali for my post, the harm I caused, and I have agreed to pay him compensation to vindicate his reputation.

The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat @washingtonpost journalist Heidi Levine nearly to death. Then the IDF shot a Palestinian bystander, and aimed their guns and shoved the paramedics who were trying to treat him. All of this documented.
Earlier today, IDF and Israel Border Police forces were dispatched to an area adjacent to Khirbet Abu Falah, following a report of a violent confrontation. Foreign media personnel were present at the scene and a female journalist was injured during the confrontation. All details of the incident will be examined. Upon arriving to the scene, the forces acted to disperse the confrontation using riot dispersal means.
At another location where the confrontation took place, IDF soldiers initially fired warning shots into the air and then fired toward a suspect who ran toward them, carrying a sharp object and posed a threat to them. The confrontation was dispersed.
Israeli Police forces and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District will enter the area with IDF security to collect findings and evidence, as well as take testimonies.
Violence against innocent civilians is a grave and intolerable phenomenon that requires a coordinated, multi-agency response. The IDF will work together with the relevant authorities to eradicate this phenomenon.
The IDF strongly condemns this incident. Attempts to incite friction between populations undermine security in the area.

Actual on-camera Reform racism will get 1% of the media and political outrage that fake racism accusations against the Greens have gotten for the past week
Warning: Distressing and graphic language
An undercover investigation inside Reform UKâs political operation has found senior party officials saying they have to âdefend the indefensibleâ when dealing with accusations of racism against party figures, with Nigel Farage told he was âprotectingâ one Reform candidate from being sacked for allegedly racist views.
ITV Exposure gained unprecedented access to Reformâs Westminster headquarters, sending in an undercover reporter inside the party in January 2026, where she worked as a press officer. She secretly recorded conversations between Reform officials as they dealt with multiple accusations of racism by Reform councillors and candidates.
Reform UK told us: âNot all individuals covertly recorded by ITV are members of Reform UK. Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed.
âReform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations.
âThere is no room for racism in Reform UK. We always respect due process of investigations and whilst these are ongoing it would not be appropriate to comment on individual cases.â

Let's be clear - almost all Palestinians regard Zionism as racist. The British media/political class is uniting to tell them, not just that their understanding of their own lived experience is wrong - but that they and their supporters are forbidden from expressing it.
BREAKING: The Labour Party has said that power-sharing agreements with the Green Party will end unless local Greens explicitly reject their party's "Zionism is racism" policy
The Labour Party has asked all Labour groups in power-sharing agreements with the Green Party to review their arrangements in local government after the prime minister's words at PMQs yesterday.
Bridget Phillipson MP, Chair of the Labour Party, said:
âThe Prime Minister has been completely clear: this policy is wrong and antisemitic, and has no place in British politics.
âWhere local Labour Parties currently have an arrangement with the Greens in local government, we expect their Green counterparts to make clear that they reject this position and to call on their national leadership to reconsider the policy.
âWe have asked local Green groups to respond as a matter of urgency. Where they are unable to provide that assurance, Labour will bring any such local arrangement to an end. This isnât an issue of party politics; itâs about doing what is right and upholding the values anyone holding public office should share.
âThe Labour Party fought hard to address antisemitism within our own party and ensure it had no place in our politics. We have a responsibility to uphold those same standards in our relationships with other parties.â

As a British Jew, I'm deeply concerned about the cynical blurring of Zionism & Judaism.
Whatever our political differences, Jewish people must never face prejudice or discrimination.
So after the Labour Government apologised over Gaza: why are they still arming Israel?
As a British Jew, I am deeply concerned by the Green Party's vote to declare Zionism racism.
Whatever our political differences, Jewish people must never face prejudice or discrimination.
Yesterday, I raised these concerns in Parliament and asked how Jewish communities can be reassured.
I welcome the Home Secretary's clear response: every council, regardless of political control, must uphold equality law and protect its residents from discrimination.
He was only 14 years old.
Amer Rabee was a Palestinian-American teen from New Jersey, on vacation with his family in the West Bank. He and two other teen boys were out picking almonds when the IOF shot them.
The IOF alleges they were throwing stones, so they shot Amer 21 times- 6 of those bullets hit him after he was already down on the ground, already dead. Yes, they shot him 6 more times after he was already gone. The other two boys were injured as well in the shooting by the IOF.
No parent should have to endure this type of pain, an act of pure evil. Please understand YOUR US tax dollars funded this atrocity.
As we learned about Amerâs life, we visited a park built by Amerâs father in his sonâs memory, complete with a playground, basketball court, and beautiful murals, as seen in the video. There must be an investigation into his killing and the injury of the other victims.
âYoung Israeli shepherdsâŚwho come for a sense of adventure.â
What an absolutely insane way to describe terrorism and occupation.
In the West Bank, some of the violence against Palestinians is being carried out by young Israeli shepherds known as Hilltop Youth, who come for a sense of adventure and are told theyâre on a God-given mission to redeem the land. cbsn.ws/4yLzzCv
