This is a really powerful vision, especially if they can layer in marketing-driven intent signals. Collapses a lot of point-solution complexity, and brings marketing and sales closer together

This is NFL TV ad territory. May seem high, but IMO it's justified (for now, and for certain products) -- customer intent stage + profiling -- channel comps -- high-LTV brands -- likely drops over time 🧵
JUST IN: OpenAI is reportedly charging advertisers $60 for every 1k impressions for ChatGPT ads.

But IMO the really interesting piece here is that because of the conversation-style interaction with ChatGPT, they are able to profile users with more specificity than other platforms can Google knows what you're interested in, but ChatGPT knows **why** you're interested

That highly-nuanced understanding of a customer's thought process is a new layer of customer segmentation - that historically has lead to higher conversion rates throughout the funnel OpenAI will need to manage the trust issue for sure. But for now, the pricing logic holds up.

Excellent piece of content marketing here

Appreciate the theory here of prioritizing customers over investors At a certain stage of project maturity, positive customer behavior will naturally bring positive investor behavior. Focus on the one that matters long-term
an update on HNT buybacks: the market doesn’t seem to care about projects buying their tokens back off the market, so we are going to stop wasting our money under the current conditions Helium + Mobile generated $3.4M in October alone and I’d rather we use that money to grow the business than pour it into a hole. we’re fully focused on growing @helium_mobile subscribers, the @helium network installed base, and growing carrier offload usage and will be directing all our $ in to those endeavors until morale improves data credits will continue to be burned for all carrier offload as always. thank you for your attention to this matter!

.@ItsFloe focusing on long-term thinking is refreshing Certainly not a perfect framework - no singular metric is - but this is important progress
How do we determine which projects are likely to drive lasting, fundamental progress over the long-term? Introducing Messari’s Disruption Factor. A proof of concept framework to measure how deeply a crypto project has embedded itself into the broader world and into mainstream user behavior. 🧵👇

In this year's Messari 2026 thesis, I proposed a new framework for evaluating L2s (and later other sectors of the space!) Give it a read 👇 All feedback is welcome, as we plan to iterate on this initial stage :)

On my first day as a Marketing Intern at Google, the CMO asked me "What is good marketing?" I responded confidently, "It's all about creative branding, advertising, and effective PR. Essentially Mad Men." She laughed, "No. Now query these product data tables and tell the engineers which new feature to test next so that the product itself creates a perpetual loop that brings in more users. And if you can't figure that out, construct a top or mid funnel program around the product that creates a perpetual loop of user growth." Public comms, viral content, branding, advertising, etc. are all important components of "Marketing". However, they are indirect. The end purpose of Marketing is to grow a product's usage and revenue generation. There are direct ways to do that, but I don't see much of that in crypto. Something to consider when you see discussions about crypto marketers and good/bad marketing.
