I was raised on my father’s hobby ranch in Colorado and learned many life lessons there. When a horse kicked you, kicking him back was never the solution. Finding out why he kicked you was. If more people knew this there would be fewer wars and folks dying every day. Peace folks!

Maternity leave.
Can you think of a Canadian product that’s better than an American one? Honestly curious.

Being positive has its limits. You can’t be so positive that you fail to acknowledge difficult emotions during tough times. Telling someone to look on the bright side is dismissive. A healthier approach is to acknowledge and validate how they feel about their situation.

Depression is a widespread mental health condition affecting many, particularly college students navigating new challenges. With about 53% of students experiencing depression at some point, it's crucial to recognize its signs and impacts. buff.ly/405iOUr #Depression

Please don’t revise history. Nobody was “forced” to be vaccinated. Governments of all political stripes in Canada, and around the world made the best decisions they could to protect vulnerable people. Requirements are part of organized society. Force means use of violence. This statement is untrue and harmful.
Wow. Liberals: “Don’t worry if you have a reaction to the forced vaccination, we have a treatment for that: MAID”

It is simple-minded to look at people with psychiatric illness, homelessness and drug use and think them lesser people. If you knew the abuse and trauma many of them suffered you would think different. Not everyone's father gave them a job and inheritance.

2 comments; • we need more child psychiatrists and hospital beds for this to be conceivable. •providing/offering resources is great but forcing kids into therapy and taking meds if they choose not to is doomed to failure and is unethical.

Please re-Tweet for every caregiver who has felt overwhelmed, inadequate and helpless: You don’t have to be perfect. Doing what you are able — the best that you are able, when you are able — is plenty. #Alzheimers #dementia #autism #mentalhealth #caregiving

How are housing and health inextricably linked? An unhoused patient has health care costs 7x higher than housed individuals. And people without housing typically live nearly 20 years less. Housing is a matter of human dignity and sound economics.

There are currently no plans to accommodate the growing numbers of these individuals. Most will outlive their caretaking exhausted parents. You should be ashamed @MichaelParsa .

As someone who is often masking in my own house to protect a leukemia patient and also teaching my son to be respectful of women, I find this online store and site where the @CPC_HQ Comms Director @SarahFischer__ is a contributor a tad concerning: electconservatives.ca When people say both sides are the same, there is only one side relentlessly weaponizing hate.

Safe consumption sites do not lead to more deaths. Brian Lilley made that insinuation (below). I've boiled down why his suggestion is wrong and dangerous. @brianlilley - Brian, let me know if this is helpful.
I'll point out again for all those saying that without "safe" consumption sites people will die.... After we opened the first site in 2017, overdose deaths more that doubled. Few journalists will ask about that or question the activists on this. publichealthontario.ca/en/Da…

Suicide is a major public health concern around the world. More than 700,000 people die by suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds. Let’s take action by educating ourselves and breaking the stigma that surrounds this issue. buff.ly/47dIhfQ
