US healthcare costs are rising at an alarming rate:
Medical care prices have surged +132% since 2000, the largest increase among major consumer spending categories.
Over the same period, shelter costs have risen +127%, while food prices have soared +112%.
Price increases across all these spending categories have outpaced overall CPI, which is up +99% since 2000.
As a result, ~30% of insured US adults have skipped or delayed getting healthcare they needed due to costs over the last 12 months, according to a KFF survey.
Healthcare costs have never been higher.

"The persistence of this kind of nonresponse bias introduces the risk of a systematic polling error like those in 2016 or 2020."
"This cycle, Democrats are once again responding to Times/Siena polls at a much higher rate than Republicans. STRATEGY CFO RESIGNS AS COMPANY REPORTS RECORD $21 BILLION QUARTERLY OPERATING INCOME
Strategy CFO Andrew Kang is stepping down November 5, according to an SEC filing released Thursday.
The company says his departure is for personal reasons and does not involve disagreements over its operations or policies.
CEO Phong Le will temporarily assume CFO responsibilities before Reza Virasteh takes over in January 2027.
Under the new structure, Le will retain direct responsibility for Strategy's Bitcoin treasury, capital markets and financing activities.
The leadership change comes as Strategy reports record quarterly operating income of approximately $21 billion, driven primarily by gains in the value of its Bitcoin holdings.
Strategy currently holds 848,517 BTC and has raised more than $21 billion in capital year to date.

Spent the afternoon knocking on doors and talking with Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, asking for their support. The response was incredible!
I even heard from Democrats who told me they had researched both candidates and decided to vote for me because the choice is clear.
