A 32-year-old woman residing in a specialized mental health rehabilitation facility has spent years faking a physical illness, MECFS, to scam over $40,000 from her 11k followers on X. In reality, her institutional placement is for long-term psychiatric care for her actual diagnosis, Borderline Personality Disorder and Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Type. While state taxpayers fully cover her room, board, and 24/7 care, she runs an unauthorized fundraising scheme straight from her Medicaid-funded bed. She routinely posts severe allegations of abuse, facility starvation, and medical neglect to trigger panic-donations, violating strict facility contracts and Personal Needs Allowance laws of $60 per month. To make matters even worse, she calls herself a disability rights advocate. She throws others in her facility with the same diagnosis as her under the bus repeatedly. While others who are there are expected to live on a personal needs allowance of $60 per month, she's making about $1000 a month with these scam fundraisers, and she won't even admit to her actual diagnosis and claims she's just in the facility waiting for free housing and needs help while there.
