HEARTBREAKING: Former #Lions All-Pro center Frank Ragnow lost his father to a heart attack while playing college football at Arkansas in 2016. After Arkansas faced Alabama, legendary coach Nick Saban went out of his way to find Ragnow on the field, offer his condolences, and encourage him during one of the most difficult moments of his life. Saban later spoke about the emotional interaction during his postgame press conference: “He’s a fine young man and a fine player. And for him to have to go through that, our thoughts and prayers are with his family. I just wanted to tell him that and try to encourage him.” Ragnow later revealed that his lifelong dream was to make it to the NFL so he could financially support his parents and give them the life they deserved. “Since day one, I had wrote that my goal is to make it to the NFL and be able to take care of my parents.” An absolutely heartbreaking story and a beautiful gesture from Nick Saban. ❤️🙏

Not jumping and reaching out on QB sneaks when the ball just has to break the plane drives me crazy. … UCF, take the points.

For starters.. congratulations to the @Brewers for winning the National League Championship… they simply outplayed and beat a very good @Dodgers team (100-62) … can’t say enuff about the way the entire Dodgers team and staff handled that series… they gave the Brewers the respect and kudos they deserved … Big Blue handled losing in a classy and dignified way …they made no excuses and gave the Brewers their due. Tip of the cap to a classy organization. They will be back. This is not the beginning of the end.

Nine of the #Dodgers 26 active players are homegrown. Others, such as Kiké, Phillips, Vesia and even Muncy were acquired for pennies on the dollar and developed by the organization, exactly as the Brewers have done. What you’ve done, on the other hand, is what’s known as contempt before investigation. Facts are stubborn things. Ignorance is not bliss.
I never want to hear this Dodgers team uttered in the same sentence as the late 90s Yankees ever again. Those Yankee teams were built on homegrown stars. The Dodgers were built on the backs of mercenaries and still couldn’t 3-peat.

Doc is the best. Period. My Dodgers got beat. No excuses, no blame, the better team won. The Brewers were the best team in baseball all year for a reason.
"We got beat. They beat us, and they outplayed us." Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts joined @Ken_Rosenthal following the loss in Game 4.

This weekend, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. My brother-in-law, Fed, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind my sister and their three amazing boys. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a husband, a partner, and a father so suddenly. In the midst of trying to process this devastating loss, my sister is now facing the overwhelming reality of navigating life as a solo parent and a single-income household, all while helping her boys cope with the loss of their dad. No family should have to face this kind of heartbreak, and no one should have to worry about how they will manage financially while trying to put the pieces of their lives back together. We are asking for your help in supporting my sister and her boys during this incredibly painful and uncertain time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease some of the financial burden and allow them the time and space they need to grieve, heal, and begin navigating this new reality. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your thoughts means more than you know. Thank you for showing up for my sister and my nephews when they need it most. Our family is heartbroken, but we are so grateful for the love and support surrounding them during this unimaginable time. gofundme.com/f/support-the-l…

Verducci didn’t miss here.
“I didn’t see this coming. I did pick the Brewers. I think they’re the better team overall, but man, I thought it would be back and forth for seven games.” — Tom Verducci on the NLCS.

Putting this series all on Roberts is laughable. Thinking we need to move on from him is even more laughable. The Brewers are outplaying the Dodgers in EVERY facet of baseball. Period. Quit reaching and give Milwaukee credit.

The Brewers taking down Skubal, Yamamoto, and Snell in three consecutive games is easily one of the most impressive feats I've ever seen. How much money between those three starters?

De Paula was the one guy who I liked there. Smith’s ball not leaving the yard and then not capitalizing might be the difference.

Add Tommy Edman to the list.
My eyes are on the entire Dodgers hitting department. Brewers pitching well, no doubt, but these offensive struggles were way before that. Tucker having a career low, Ohtani almost out of the line up, Will Smith career low playoff struggles. Their Approach is all over the place.
