MAJOR CHANGES AND REPORTED ACHIEVEMENTS UNDER DR NASIPHI MOYA AS THE MAYOR OF CITY OF TSHWANE 1. Repaired more than 21,000 streetlights during the first 100 days. 2. Increased cash-backed reserves from R835 million to over R1.9 billion. 3. Reduced Eskom debt by approximately R2 billion. 4. Replaced more than 28 km of water pipes and invested in water infrastructure. 5. Created over 14,000 EPWP work opportunities. 6. Started recruiting over 200 additional Metro Police officers. 7. Cleaning Pretoria and removing illegal dumping 8. Shutdown illegal operations (iphi tombi , pavilion hotel and sports bar ) 9. Repaired over 14,000 potholes and resurfaced more than 220 km of roads.
