Trailer homes were the winning bet. $NBIS is cratering. $SPCX is in a drawdown. $NVDA is showing no signs of life. But trailer home stocks have ripped +18% on average in the last month, led by $CVCO. As manual skills fade, are manufactured houses the homes of the future?

A shockwave hit the AI trade. A $MRVL and $LITE merger announcement has sent optical stocks crashing, with the cohort down -6.4% today. The headline companies are on double-digit losses, and $AAOI, $COHR and $FN dragged down with them. Has the AI consolidation phase begun?

That's right. Swimming pools. Not tech... $QQQ is falling. Not lithium... $LIT is tanking. Not memory... $DRAM keeps bleeding. But in-ground swimming pool stocks have ripped +25% over a month on average. The market is full of secret scoops if you know where to find them.

What's the best performing investment of the last year? Not semiconductors like $NVDA. Not space stocks like $SPCX. Not index funds like $QQQ. It was ship leasing in the Suez Canal... up +154% on average. We first posted about shipping stocks in February.

Let's talk about stock bubbles. It was 1929, and the future promised extraordinary things. So few saw it coming. The decade witnessed a huge proliferation of new technologies. Sound familiar? Radio was connecting millions of homes. Automobiles were transforming transportation. Electrification was revolutionising industry, while aviation promised to conquer the skies. Investors poured money into companies at the forefront of these industries. A culture of speculation flourished alongside them: stock tipsters, bucket shops, market manipulators and promoters promising ordinary Americans a shortcut to riches. Newspapers carried breathless stories of fortunes being made. Everyone wanted a piece of the future. Then, on October 29, 1929, the American stock market suffered one of the most famous collapses in financial history. Almost a century later, artificial intelligence promises to transform entire industries, generating extraordinary enthusiasm for semiconductor manufacturers, cloud providers and data center operators. Spaceflight promises to take us further than aviation ever could. And once again, an entire culture has grown around the boom. The stock tipsters have become financial influencers, the bucket shops have become spread-betting apps, and the get-rich-quick promoters now sell courses, newsletters and AI-generated trading signals. The technology has changed, but the human appetite for effortless wealth has not. The lesson of 1929 is not that technological optimism is misplaced. Radio, automobiles, electricity and aviation really did transform the world. Yet the Dow Jones fell almost 90% from its peak, and took until 1954 to recover. The future arrived, just as promised. But many of the investors who had financed it were ruined. Whether AI will transform the economy is one question. Whether today's investors are paying the right price for that transformation is another.

🚨 $CROX +25.5% IN ONE SESSION. There’s a market outside the AI trade. • HEYDUDE returned to growth: revenue +6%. • Crocs raised its full-year outlook. • Adjusted EPS guidance increased to $14.45–$14.65. A reminder: improving expectations can move a stock dramatically even in a business selling clogs. One session doesn’t prove a lasting rotation. Hey @grok , is this the start of money rotating toward consumer stocks, or company-specific earnings strength? What would confirm the difference? 👇
Everyone watched $AMZN, $GOOGL and other tech get massacred today. Meanwhile, footwear stocks soared +6.1%, spawning billions of dollars of capital. $CROX +26%. $BOOT +15%. ... and 12 other footwear brands ripped +3 to +8%. Reminds you to keep your feet on the ground huh?

Yes we know. AI is getting massacred. $QQQ has barely moved in 6 months. $INTC, $GOOGL, $RDDT and $AMZN are tanking pre-market. But here are 4 themes no one's talking about that have ripped to the heavens in the last week. Drug discovery platforms: +17.5% Industrial UPS systems: +17.9% Construction machinery rentals: +15.2% Plasma RF power systems: +17.5% Remember folks... narratives are noise, and there's always some clever guy winning out there.

Uh-oh... AI copilots are crashing the plane. Our tracker for stocks with established AI copilot products is down a whopping -4.5% this midday. $NOW getting wiped out. $GOOGL's worst session in years. $CRM, $MSFT, $AMZN, ... all reeling. Might need a human back in the loop.

Everyone was talking about $GOOGL and $MSFT yesterday. In the meantime, optical component manufacturers had an extraordinary rally. Double-digit gains for $AXTI, while $LITE, $AAOI, $COHR and $FN ripped almost as hard. Ferevish speculation around AXT Inc's Q3 earnings...

They screamed it loud and clear. Today, data centers said "we're not leaving." DC lifecycle stocks soared +3.2% by close. $VRT and $GLXY saw extraordinary gains. $APLD and $SCMI weren't far behind. The move reached across power, cooling and construction, not just chips.

It came totally unexpectedly. Renewable electricity stocks are getting obliterated in early trading today. $ENPH and $SEDG seeing double digit nosedives, with Enphase's weak outlook points to softer rooftop solar demand. Even $GEV got dragged into it. Renewables, -18% in 6M.
