FACTS
Replying to @lucaberta
From Learjet 60 manual. When flying over 30,000 feet do NOT attempt to overfly turbulence unless “well in clear”
Why fly into a 40k+ high Tstorm ??
Why nose power up to climb higher when experiencing Ice ? & Not head lower .. warmer.. avoids any high speed stall potential.
High T tails suffer alot of stress during tutbulence.

This is why we call it the “Pilot In Command”
This happened in the same vicinity where the ill-fated Lear Jet hit the storm cell.
JetBlue pilot en route from Fort Lauderdale to Austin says to ATC:
“So you're gonna make us go through a, uh, severe thunderstorm?”
The captain then commanded the situation and overrode the ATC:
“So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.”
Sometimes piloting demands a specific set of traits - decisiveness, independent judgment, and the backbone to reject an instruction when it doesn’t feel right.
Refusing the assigned heading showed exactly that kind of assertive leadership.
Whoever is pilot monitoring must make these tough calls but ultimately, the captain is the final authority and ultimately accountable for every soul on board.

Everyone planning to sail solo asks a million questions about sleep schedules, catnaps, and keeping a proper lookout.
Then you reach a certain age and apparently just say, “F it. I’ve had a good life.”
And sleep for 11 straight hours. 💀

🎸🔥24-year-old Tracy Chapman, virtually unknown at the time, was suddenly pushed onto the Wembley Stadium stage as a last-minute replacement when Stevie Wonder couldn't perform due to a major technical glitch (his synth hard disk went missing). Armed with just her acoustic guitar and raw vocals, she delivered "Fast Car" and left the massive 72,000-person crowd in absolute stunned silence within seconds. This iconic 1988 moment literally launched her career overnight—does it give you goosebumps too? If you've ever heard "Fast Car" live (or even just this version) and didn't get chills or teary-eyed, drop your story below—I need to hear it!
Think like Bob..
.. thus sometimes its what he did'nt say .. than what he did say.
'betterness' of modern centralized patterns of life..better than caveman times..
.. yes modern deseases rooted in Objectivity & centralized medicine/lifestyle.. ie not betterness.

Remember falling asleep on the couch during family holiday gatherings?
You could hear the adults talking and laughing in the background, dishes being put away, and the TV playing softly.
You didn't have a care in the world. You just knew everyone was there, and you were safe.
It's funny how much you miss those ordinary nights, especially the people who made them feel like home.
