🚨BREAKING: AI AGENTS ARE ACCESSING AMERICANS' BANK ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BANK AUTHORIZATION.
JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanley are scrambling to contain the threat.
Here's what's happening:
→ UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS: AI agents are entering customer bank accounts using real login credentials, sometimes with the owners' permission.
→ ROGUE BEHAVIOR: Some agents have reportedly taken actions beyond what their users requested.
→ BANKS CAN'T TELL: Financial institutions are struggling to distinguish human activity from AI agents acting independently.
→ MONEY AT RISK: Agents with transaction permissions could potentially transfer funds or make purchases without approval.
→ EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS: Major banks are BLOCKING third-party AI agents and moving toward read-only access.
Think about this.
We're giving AI agents access to our most sensitive financial information.
And now some of America's biggest banks are struggling to control what those agents do.
This could become one of the biggest security challenges of the AI era.

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

Behind the scenes of crumbling Troy Aikman-Joe Buck relationship: 'You f-ked me over' trib.al/8ntwAUx
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The image falsely claims ESPN executives criticized Troy Aikman for not promoting Pat McAfee's album with invented quotes; no credible reports support this. The quoted NY Post article covers an unrelated contract dispute between Aikman and Joe Buck.

Ka-boom. As I've been saying and dissecting for the last eight years, there is a lot more there there. Every settlement has been in part due to the increase in temperature when you get to the top of Meta and its board. Good on New Mexico.
In case anyone is wondering why Meta tried to squeeze claims from another cover-up into its massive $19B child harm settlement, this testimony was in a filing last night, “warned "to not pursue investigating Cambridge Analytica specifically" because "it would be career suicide."

Yes , Florida .. THIS ARROGANT CORRUPTION is on the ballot
It’s an 8 yr history of complete disregard for the law, for government transparency , for taxpayer fund abuse , for accountability.
They’ve been laughing at us and thumbing of their noses at us
JESUS . Haven’t you had enough ?
VOTE THEM ALL OUT . Accomplices and enablers alike !
“A Florida grand jury found that $10 million meant to compensate children harmed by Medicaid overbilling was diverted into political activity by Ron DeSantis's administration.
The money came from a settlement with Centene Corp., Florida's largest Medicaid contractor, after the company was caught systematically overbilling the state for healthcare services ➡️to sick and underprivileged children.
Rather than return it to the state's general fund, DeSantis's team routed $10 million to Hope Florida Foundation, a welfare-assistance organization founded by Casey DeSantis, the governor's wife.
From there, it was funneled into political operations—a move the grand jury characterized as misappropriation of public funds meant for vulnerable kids.
This is what accountability looks like when it actually happens. A grand jury, evidence, a clear chain of wrongdoing. The question now is whether anyone faces consequences.”

NEW: Trump’s mega Venezuelan oil deal, signed by Hegseth and Rubio, benefits an unknown group of investors and was intentionally crafted to keep the next U.S. president or future leaders of Venezuela from undoing it. @propublica saw the secret contract: propublica.org/article/trump…
Apparently, the biggest crime in Florida isn't corruption. It's exposing it.
They're threatening TV stations with criminal prosecution for airing ads about the $10 million Hope Florida scandal. Uthmeier would rather silence people than answer for the money.
Unlike Uthmeier, as AG I'll investigate corruption, not cover it up.

woah, it gets worse. In the Meta securities lawsuit for Cambridge Analytica cover-up, plaintiffs just posted deposition list. If they have the courage to 'go to the mat' (as Zuckerberg says) like New Mexico AG has done for over $25B, this could be very, very bad for Team Zuck. 1/3

The NFL is on fire this week 😂
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell asked about Steve Tisch—forced to divest his shares in the @Giants to his kids amid his involvement in the Epstein Files—being in the draft room, at camp, at these meetings: "I think we're comfortable with him participating as the Giants suggest."

The 1st DCA has just released more Hope Florida docs. This shows that it was Fla AG @JamesUthmeierFL who last Friday asked the court to block the airing of Hope Florida ads. The court rejected the request. Hours later the RPOF filed a lawsuit in Highlands County about it ...

2) OC say eff it, leaves booth for locker room with half 4Q left
3) WR coach pretends he’s still getting play calls from OC

Per Mike Locksley's Maryland contract, he's owed $9.75 million. There's no offset or mitigation on the deal, which means Maryland will pay all of it even if Locksley lands another job.

Got to Williams' profile a few weeks ago. Instantly hilarious to me that we marveled at Utah for having two NFL OTs in Fano and Lomu, yet the guy with the higher NFL ceiling may have been on the bench behind them
Zereoue Williams spent most of his career buried on Utah’s depth chart, but he’s broken out in his final year of eligibility. Easy 1st rounder imo and a real shot at OT1, considering Seaton’s nosedive over the last 2 weeks and Goosby’s issues in the run game. I do wish he faced some better competition…B12 edge rushers have no juice
