In my opinion, the negotiations between American/European leaders/negotiators with Putin are a sign of weakness and a defeat, because they bring him out of isolation and legitimize his regime. These negotiations will lead to nothing, but as a result, Putin is now once again a figure with whom one can shake hands, even though his hands are covered in blood and that blood flows in streams every day.
