Did I miss some message about a new COVID vaccine? ‘Cause I’d have gotten it. No need now.

“Russia invaded Ukraine, committed atrocities in the territories it occupied, and when it failed to force the government to fall or achieve its aims on the battlefield, began targeting civilians, seeking to terrorize the population into accepting Russian domination. The first Trump Administration shook off the Obama Administration’s reticence to assist and admirably sent both weapons and military trainers to help Ukraine.  After the full-scale invasion in 2022, the Biden Administration orchestrated a herculean international effort to assist Ukraine, which the Trump Administration has abandoned.”-@KoriSchake @AEI aei.org/foreign-and-defense-…

Alabama GOP Chairman Scott Stadthagen says Democratic leadership is to blame for crime in Birmingham and Montgomery and warned that electing Doug Jones governor would bring those problems statewide. However, actual data tells a different story.

I have had an almost 2 week break from heavy lifting legal work while on vacation. I kept up with emails. Forwarded the ones I needed to, and dealt with some admin while hubs napped. Now we’re both sick. & I feel more exhausted than b/f vacay.

"Surveys show that most Americans stand with Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia, view Putin as a dangerous threat who shouldn’t be trusted, and want to see the United States offer more assistance to Ukraine," writes David J. Kramer, Executive Director of the Bush Institute along with John Herbst and William Taylor, both former U.S. Ambassadors to Ukraine. Dear Canada, I mourn with you for the lost and injured. And most Americans do. We appreciate and respect what you did during the GWOT.

Congress overwhelmingly passed tough sanctions on Russia & @POTUS signed them into law. Let’s finally use them instead of propping up Putin’s war machine. We should be standing with Ukraine, on the side of freedom & democracy.

I was also a Captain in Afghanistan in the dismounted close combat role. I never got time off to go to Kabul HQ. You are dishonest, disrespectful and dishonourable @PeteHegseth You shame your country as @SecWar
Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."

Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths. t.co/x4tGhxJiFG

This is a vile and disgusting betrayal. Our Ukrainian allies are being slaughtered at home — while they sleep — without warning. By cutting off aid to Ukraine, Trump chose evil and oppression over liberty and freedom. Make him and Republicans pay in 20 days.
While Musk owns SpaceX which controls Starlink systems and can impose restrictions on them in Ukraine, those that began overnight are on the Starshield military version of the system controlled by the Pentagon. This suggests the decision to limit the speed of the Starshield systems was made within the Trump administration. ft.com/content/37085602-726a…

Make no mistake: By cutting intelligence sharing with Ukraine and buying Russian diesel, the United States is actively helping Russia wage its war against Ukraine and kill its people. Shame on every Republican in Congress who knows better but is too cowardly to act.
BREAKING: Ukraine received no early warning from its partners before Russia launched ballistic missiles at civilian infrastructure in Kyiv last night, President Zelenskyy says. This comes after reports over the weekend that the Trump administration considered cutting off intelligence sharing with Ukraine unless Kyiv stopped striking Russian oil refineries. At least 2 people were killed and 9 injured in a Russian strike on a residential building in Kyiv.

Most Americans want to help the victim of Putin’s invasion defend their freedom & independence. We won’t stand on the side of the invader and pressure the victim to make concessions. Most reject buying fuel from Russia that funds the bombing of cities. aol.com/articles/donald-trum…
