Small but real governance first: Intersect sent 115,172 ada of unspent 2025 budget back to the Cardano treasury on Oct 20–21, the first mainnet use of its treasury contract's sweep function. Unused funds now have a tested route home.

Real-world Cardano use I like seeing: the Cardano Foundation says 100,000+ farms in India are now registered on-chain through Syngenta Foundation India and 5am.earth. Satellite-verified land and crop records farmers can reuse for credit and insurance.

Nice milestone: Intersect says the public DijkstraNet testnet is live and SPOs are invited. It runs node 11.1.3 for now; node 11.2 adds the full Dijkstra feature set minus Leios, then a hard-fork action moves it to protocol 12. No mainnet date yet.

Good point from the Cardano Foundation in the EU's MiCA review: delegating ADA keeps tokens in your own wallet, so it shouldn't be treated like custodial staking. They want rules based on who controls assets, not new DeFi regimes.
