#stoicsense - The crime rate in the black community is due to the father absence phenomenon. Just remind me who's been writing all the social policies/wider legislation for the BAME community and how they feel about "the western prescribed nuclear family unit"???? – at Wales, United Kingdom
“He who has once understood that in madness alone lies man’s completion, is thus led to make a clear choice not between madness and reason, but between the lie of ‘a nightmare of justifiable snores,’ and the will to self-mastery and victory”
Yes. It's irrational because 5% of the criminal population, commit the majority of crime in society. Assigning collective guilt the way you just have, when less than 1% of the population is to blame, makes women and girls scared of shadows. Bravo 🔔 🔚

For thousands of years, child mortality was 48-49%.
In 200 years — that is, since the Enlightenment combination of reason, science, and capitalism took hold — it has fallen to less than 5%.

It’s boys and men who are discriminated against, blamed and shamed and unsupported in society today. But the vast majority of people honestly believe it’s the other way around. How do we wake them up to reality?

This video clip was the first big one of Anakin discourse.
It is 17 seconds long. 👀
This image is "Anakin." It appears at 13 seconds. 👀👀
But this image is not Anakin.
It is Lucifer from a famous 1847 painting called "The Fallen Angel."

A viral clip from Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast encouraged women to leave their husbands because they can always "get better."
But for chemist and writer @NeilShenvi, this attitude suggests that "Cooper and manosphere influencers have more in common than either side might care to admit."
Both reduce relationships, and even marriages, to transactions designed to maximize personal fulfillment. The only real difference is whether the desired payoff is sexual or emotional.
But is personal fulfillment really the highest good in marriage? Or do we have obligations to others that cannot be reduced to our own happiness?

Non-engagement is often a symptom, not a choice.
Over 15 years in the NHS, I saw a clear shift in how we respond to people who don't attend.
When someone at risk missed appointments or didn't answer calls, we used to go to them. A home treatment or CMHT nurse would visit, check they were safe and try to bring them into treatment.
As an on-call registrar, I assessed many people who had said they were suicidal but couldn't come to clinic or had missed appointments. The team was worried, so we made the effort to reach them many times during the night or at weekends.
In recent years, I have seen people discharged despite high risk, simply because they don't engage. This is often based on an assumption that they have capacity, without a proper capacity assessment.
The same happens to people with severe anxiety or agoraphobia. Some cannot leave home, yet they receive a letter, miss the appointment and are discharged without ever being seen.
I have seen people deteriorate after this, in the NHS, in A&E and in private practice.
We have moved from trying to engage people who are unwell to discharging them for not engaging, even when that is part of their illness.
If someone can't come to us because of their illness, the answer shouldn't be a discharge letter.
Well you can't really get anymore sexist than this. I'm so sick and tired of faux academics spouting Marxist theory (patriarchal oppression theory) as fact. She's so sick and tired of the patriarchy, while she's surrounded by and using things men built. What a terrible existence
Oh. I wonder why more young men stay in the family home longer than young women.
Let me think about that really really hard. #sexism #genderimbalance @TimesRadio

I do not believe anyone should access spaces of the opposite sex, but if we wish to be precise, females pose no threat to males. Females don’t sexually assault 1 in 4 males. Females don’t use their genitals as a weapon. Females dont harm males on the same scale that males harm us

If you were to set foot in the women’s clothing section of any good fashion store, you would be greeted with a plethora of colours, textures, designs, patterns, shapes, fits, jewellery and more…
Behold! The shimmering majesty of satin. Look in awe at the cascading train of that sparkly sequined dress, or stand in disbelief at the endless racks of shoes in every style you can dream of, or wander through fields of trinkets in every shape, colour and design imaginable.
And once you’re done (assuming you find your way back out), take a quick look at the men’s section too.
Don’t worry, it won’t take long…
T-shirts: they come in black, white, grey and navy blue.
Trousers: also black, white, grey and navy blue.
Jeans.
And that’s about it.
Well said. Assigning collective guilt based on protected characteristics is illegal for a reason. Somehow though its became a mainstream narrative, even for some in the police and counter terrorism units.
