Jumping back on Twitter to let @AmericanAir know their customer service is why I dread having to use your airline for travel. Ridiculous that I can’t use miles to upgrade. What’s the point of the rewards program? Do better, please.
Update: I can use miles but also have to pay a non-refundable fee and will be put on a waitlist. Not sure there is any real reward in being a @AmericanAir customer.
Looking forward to flying @Delta @SouthwestAir @united who don’t charge their customers miles plus $75 in “taxes and other charges” to upgrade.
