Having talked with wonderful students at @UniOfSurrey @IoSR_Surrey @SurreyDMM yesterday, it feels that what many young artists might benefit from is not advice, but someone they can tell their ideas out loud to, to hear for themselves how it all sounds.

Listening to Tom Armstrong's Dance Maze today, which I recorded back in 2017 with the wonderful @jfichert. It's such inventive stuff - full of original musical gestures and motifs that take the trumpet in unexpected directions.
