Once #Omicron wave ends, we have 2 choices:
1) Say “normal” a lot, dismantle public health infrastructure, get surprised by the next wave (again).
2) Prepare for future waves. Vaccinate and boost, build mask and test capacity, clean indoor air. Create healthy “new normal”.
It's the most wonderful time of the year! This year's Tonmeister Class of 2015 Christmas Single is here for your viewing pleasure 😀 youtu.be/qRUcd9_pa8g
Getting together with old coursemates, even virtually, is always such a joy!

A thread of medieval paintings of animals that look nothing like real animals because the artist had never seen them.

Where has the time gone?! Five excellent years with @bmprecording. Thank you to the lovely people at Plectra for giving me the opportunity to fulfil the $1 pizza dream (oh and experience some truly world class baroque music, that too)
#TBT! 5 years ago Will Anderson joined BMP after his Tonmeister degree at @IoSR_Surrey. Weeks later he came to the USA to meet Plectra Music in DE. Not sure how he wangled it but he managed to sneak himself up to NYC, his aim - to find a $1 slice of pizza. Mission accomplished!

Really lovely to see such nice reviews coming in for this project! It was a real blast to work on and I'm rather proud of the way it's come out.
One year ago we began recording for the new @ABRSM piano syllabus. Excellent reviews already coming in:
"Excellent professional sound quality" @EptaUK
"They are beautifully recorded" Pianodau
Producer: @jonmarklee
Engineer: @willanderson324
Audio editing: @charlieh2864
It was wonderful to present about immersive virtual choir videos amongst so many other excellent presenters at @SingingSpheres today! Excellent questions and discussion too. You can find my talk for the next 48 hours here: bit.ly/36HUeuO + an example of video style below

I really pushed the boat out on my choir's "a bit different from all the other singing together in isolation videos" video. It's an emersive 360 video with ambisonic audio so you can turn to see and hear different sections of the choir! I'm really proud of it, do check it out! 🎧
Unveiling our first lockdown project. It's great having a tech genius in the tenor section. Please message and ask for Will if you want more info about how he made it all happen. Otherwise, hope you enjoy this a-Lotti

I've never recorded an organ sunk 14ft into the ground before! Awesome sounds and lovely people at @SFB_Cork last week. Looking forward to reliving it in the editing soon (sadly Beamish is harder to get on tap from the edit suit though...)
A very festive merry Christmas from the @nsabparish St Michael's choir 🎅😀🎄 @BassettChoir

What's this? A new @IoSR_Surrey Tonmeister Class of 2015's Christmas single?! Put on your Christmas jumper, open a box (or three) of mince pies and prepare to feel festive! youtu.be/fyOSoMIaiiM
Getting together with these guys is always an absolute highlight 😀

My lovely home choir are looking for a new director of music! Anyone who fancies working with a wonderful bunch of people continuing a great choral tradition in Southampton should definitely look at the job 😀 @nsabparish @BassettChoir youtu.be/vMF1EHqaaUc
Following @runningparamed1 causes some weird side effects in Twitter's advertising algorithms. That said, it's worked as I'm now wondering whether I should buy an ambulance...
