Want to know what exactly is the TN Govt's plan for infrastructure in Chennai?? The single shed air cargo terminal at Meenambakkam is soaring with air cargo (Average of 25% MoM Growth). It's getting stagnated. Chennai is almost topping all charts for industrial leasing across all major cities. Parandur has been shelved. There aren't enough land banks available at Sipcot Parks. Half boil strikes again!
🚨Power storage can be done in two ways - pump storage or battery. DMK government made significant progress in both fronts!
Here is what happened for Battery Energy Storage Systems.
📣 March 2025, Tranche 1 tender floated - 500MW/1000MWh capacity across 6 projects.
📣 August 2025, Land leases are cleared
📣November 2025, Tranche 2 tender floated - 375MW/1500MWh capacity solar+BESS projects in Karur and Thiruvarur
📣March 2026, price of 4.47/kwh fixed for power secured through BESS
In the pump storage front, the progress was leaps and bounds!
📣 Kundah and Vellimalai projects significantly scaled capability. We went from 400MW capacity to a 14,000MW masterpan under PPP.
TN will definitely see the fruits of these efforts!

Stalin is being blamed for the lag of the 2010–2020 AIADMK decade. That period produced the largest number of engineers in the state’s history, but the talent was under-utilised because GCC growth stayed modest (~100–120 centres over 10 years).
In contrast, under Stalin’s first term, Chennai/Tamil Nadu added ~150+ new GCCs in just five years (from ~150 in 2021 to 300+ by 2025), with India’s first dedicated GCC payroll-subsidy scheme launched in 2024, deliberate expansion into Coimbatore and Madurai. Thanks to @TRBRajaa and @TThenarasu
The high-skill base that Chennai voters now take for granted was built over decades by Dravidian governments (especially DMK’s earlier education and IT push). Many who voted for Vijay in Chennai in 2026 are already beneficiaries of that longer foundation.

It's frustrating to see people who should know better/understand better casually sling mud & ignore DMK's hardwork.
Please check out the facts.
We lost 10 precocious goddamn years under Admk. It's easy to fix such a long gap in development.
It was DMK that once again had to put in the hard work.
But we cannot expect DMK to pull off 100% success in everything after we keep defeating it every damn 5 years. The media and intellectuals used to go on about politicians lacking long term vision. But everytime DMK creates such plans, they lose the election.
Then comes Admk/Tvk coasting on DMK's hardwork.
The back and forth, between competent DMK and incompetent Admk, is the reason TN is yet to reach its full potential.
The DMK is supposed to come in & fix every f'kin' thing within 5 years and then pull of miracles like bringing in all the GCCs, wiping out caste from people's mind, make all criminals good people. Of course all of that withing 5 years.
And of course do all that without inconveniencing people the slightest.
All because folks with agenda fooled people that Admk is the same as DMK and so if people get even slightly annoyed at DMK they should vote for Admk.
That's what has led to Vijay now. Once again, the usual suspects, along with freshly bought parties and "intellectuals", are at it again, selling Tvk with fake data and narratives.
Then 5, 10, 15, 20 years from now, when people look up from their Insta feed and find out they are scrounging for left overs, they might vote for DMK again.
But then they'll get annoyed that DMK didn't fix everything within 5 years and vote for another party once again.
This stupid f'kin' cycle will keep going, until people wake and realize that you can criticize DMK for it to course correct and still vote for it for the sake of TN.
DMK is the only party that's actually interested in governing and administration. The others are interested only in vibes, aura and the power.
