We’ll burn the whole fucking thing down
Q: How does the right expect us to start families young when the average price of a home in America costs more than $415,000, which feels out of reach for us?
JD Vance: I want to point out that I think I've been asked 4 or maybe 5 questions and I've only been asked 1 question about John Husted's ass by Jesse Watters.
So let me get this straight.
We’re celebrating the return of manufacturing to the US, but the companies are continuing to hire NON AMERICAN WORKERS to work at the manufacturing plants.
Make it make sense.
What are we doing here?
today, we introduce a little mischief to the world.
for four years, we’ve been brewing real brain cells on electrodes to understand how they compute. now, we’ve turned those discoveries into a video model anyone can use.
from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace.
it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning.
happy halloween.
If you'd like a companion to this piece on Assisi, here's an entire documentary on it that you can watch the actual footage. youtube.com/watch?v=NEC6e8N0…
We wouldn't have thought a 12,000 word monster-piece on Assisi would have been as popular as this has been.
But it does contain:
- Everything you need to know about John Paul II's pan-religious Assisi event in 1986
- Scrupulously fair evaluation of the defences offered by John Paul II
- Exposé of the real heart of the problem
- An account of the completely cringeworthy legacy of the Assisi event.
So check it out:

Vance absolutely bombs a question from a young woman worried about affordability
Q: I'm the VP of TPUSA at Texas Christian University. I keep hearing from Republicans that I should get married and have children. But how can I own a home and raise a family right now when it's so expensive?
Vance: Thanks for your question. First, let me point out that I've only been asked about Jon Husted's ass once tonight.
For people with the memory of squirrels.
Actual BREAKING news.
The US Department of Justice is pursuing two alleged Russian influence operations.
1) The DOJ is alleging that Tenet Media, owned and controlled by Lauren Chen and her husband Liam Donovan, have secretly received $10M from Russia, used to hire social media influencers "to pump pro-Russia propaganda and disinformation" to U.S. audiences. Tenet Media works with influencers like Benny Johnson, Tim Pool, Lauren Southern, and Dave Rubin, but it is not clear that any of them were aware of this and the indictment does not name them. A few (Johnson and Pool) have issued statements on X saying that they were unaware and are "victims" of this operation.
The indictment charges two Russian nationals, employees of RT with "conspiracy to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and conspiracy to commit money laundering."
Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva are alleged to have managed the operation from Moscow using fake personas and shell companies.
The DOJ press release states:
"Since publicly launching in or about November 2023, U.S. Company-1 has posted nearly 2,000 videos that have garnered more than 16 million views on YouTube alone. Many of the videos posted by U.S. Company-1 contain commentary on events and issues in the U.S., such as immigration, inflation, and other topics related to domestic and foreign policy. While the views expressed in the videos are not uniform, most are directed to the publicly stated goals of the Government of Russia and RT — to amplify domestic divisions in the United States."
2) The justice department also cracked down on 32 internet domains designed to mimic news outlets like WashPost and Fox, but were filled with fake Russian stories meant to be disseminated via social media.
LATEST: Cardinal Gerhard Müller has called for an end to Germany’s Synodal Way arguing that its documents carry no magisterial authority and insisting that Pope Leo XIV is the successor of St Peter, not Pope Francis.
On the German process itself, he said its documents “have no sense or there’s no value for the magisterium” and must be stopped.
The Prefect Emeritus of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith also stressed that Leo’s mission is defined by the Petrine office rather than by chronological succession that would bind him to non-definitive documents or measures of the previous pontificate.
“The Pope is not the successor of the Pope before, but he’s a successor of St. Peter. So chronologically, successor of the Pope before him, but this has no theological importance."
