I’m Sid Miller’s former campaign manager. On Election Day, I will NOT be voting for Republican Nate Sheets for Texas Agriculture Commissioner. Nate Sheets is manifestly unqualified for the job, therefore, I have no choice but to do what’s best for my fellow rural Texans, our farmers, our ranchers, and every Texas consumer, regardless of the cost. I was a rural Texan long before I was a Republican. Sheets is not a man of rural Texas. He doesn’t understand our culture, our issues, and the needs of our producers. Sheets is a big-city businessman and has no experience on farms, ranches, or in our vital aquaculture industry. If there is any office in Texas that is nonpartisan, it’s the Agriculture Commissioner. This office supports our farmers, ranchers, and consumers, not political interests. A candidate who fails that simple test simply cannot be given this vital role. Nate Sheets is a walking conflict of interest. He has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from AI data center interests. He doesn’t understand that AI data centers, along with the wind and solar farms he champions, remove Texas farmlands, damage our environment, soak up shared resources, and displace our culture, history, and people. Every acre not being farmed represents higher costs at the grocery store. Protecting farm and ranch land should be the most basic expectation for the Agriculture Commissioner. Just as bad, Sheets has a long history of disgusting personal behavior. He’s cheated on his wife repeatedly, lost his ministry due to infidelity with a subordinate, and admitted to addiction to both alcohol and pornography. We rightly forced Republicans Tony Gonzales and Bryan Slaton out of office for the same abhorrent behaviors. Why would we elect another one just like them? He may deserve Christian mercy, but he doesn’t deserve our trust or our votes. As a businessman, he is deeply disrespected in his own industry for allegedly watering down his Nature Nate’s Honey and lying about its sourcing and quality. Based on this, he sold out to private equity, just as he intends to do with our Texas heritage lands and resources. Nothing about him is authentic or trustworthy. Greg Abbott hates Sid Miller. Sid stood up to him during the COVID lockdowns and again when Abbott shut down shipping, leaving Texas farm products rotting on trucks. Mostly, Sid opposed Abbott on AI data centers before public pressure forced Abbott to flip-flop. Sheets won the primary because Greg Abbott endorsed him and lied about Sid Miller to push through his AI data center agenda. When Abbott flipped, Sheets was left hanging without a patron or a justification for his candidacy. His response was to return to attacking fellow Republican Sid Miller, an icon of rural Texas, even after winning the primary. Suburban Republicans, not farmers and ranchers, nominated Nate Sheets. Now I call on all Republicans to do the right thing and reject him.

Lost his ministry due to cheating with a subordinate. Admitted porn and alcohol addict. Serial cheater. Credibly accused of fraud in his honey business. Has taken huge $$$ from pro-data center interests to sell out rural Texas. Nate Sheets is a fraud and a pervert.

What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. When a charlatan like Abdul comes along with the Jr High class president schtick of “no more homework and the vending machines are all free!”, they fall for it. I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They’ve never built anything in their lives, so they have no concept of how things function…things are just…there. They think milk comes from the store. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed. Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. Sadly, so many of our politicians and their advisors are such atrocious communicators, there’s like zero countervailing narrative to push back on the commie gobbledygook, so we are gonna have to learn the hard way. Guys…we just had a sample of socialism: Covid. We all got universal basic income, and it ended up tripling our costs and they’ll never go down. Ever. That one brief little experiment in command and control government will haunt us the rest of our lives. Bleak stuff, man.

For the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague: Russian propagandist Solovyev says that Russia’s goal is to kill all residents of Ukrainian cities: "And to those Kyiv residents who are still there, I repeat for the hundredth time: leave the city. You are doomed. To the residents of Odesa and Mykolaiv: you’ve had your laugh. When people ask, 'Do we really have to think about them at all?' Yes. We are thinking about where to bury all of you." Calls for the mass murder of civilians are classified under international law and national legislation as among the gravest international crimes and criminal offenses and may fall under several key categories: • direct and public incitement to genocide; • instigation of war crimes and crimes against humanity; • war propaganda and incitement to hatred.

Two groups of polls for TX Gov Hinojosa leads of 3-4 Abbott leads of 4-5 Abbott’s margins in his three previous races range between 11 and 20. Abbott’s polling average this time of year in 2022 was +7.5, short by 3.5 of his actual margin. I’ll let you figure out which group is right, and then you’ll understand why the Dem Gov Assn won’t touch the TX race and Talarico wants debates.
