The Short-Term Bullish Case For Bitcoin (with apologies to the great @real_vijay)
• SEC granted accelerated approval for the listing and trading of options on $IBIT, BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF
• $49.5 trillion custodian Bank of New York gets green light to custody Bitcoin for other institutions.
• Harris campaign seems to have no plans to have Harris or Walz do lots of interviews - as JD Vance and even Trump has. This suggests her campaign thinks she doesn’t have to in order to win. Or move to the center.
That may cause people and institutions to flock to Bitcoin for safety. Especially if Democrats win the Presidency, House and Senate in a landslide.
• And if Trump wins, that’s bullish simply from optics alone.👇He’s pro-Bitcoin on his stated policies & positions so far: anti-CBDC, pro-self custody, less regulation, etc.
To paraphrase @dotkrueger: Will one more shitcoin (World Liberty Financial) really negate all that?
• Trump using Bitcoin to buy a burger at Pubkey Manhattan will cause other countries to take note and move towards pro-Bitcoin policies, even if Harris doesn’t. You don’t have to believe countries will race to stockpile Bitcoin.
• Fed cut rates 50bps with much more to come as the latest job number are bad & inflation is down more than expected. Weakening is here.
• BlackRock significantly more bullish on Bitcoin, citing the $35 trillion US debt.
Bottom line:
Risk-adjusted, Bitcoin looks better short-term than it has in quite awhile.
I bought more Bitcoin.

This was vitally important when it first came out & I believe it’s important to spread this NOW 👇🏾

Good reminder that bitcoin was designed to help ppl you don't like, do things you don't like with it.
Learn to like that, or will be a rough ride.

Time shared with family, friends and colleagues is priceless. What sometimes seem like the small things of life are the big things that truly matter.

How to use purposefully vague and smart sounding rhetoric to lay the pseudo-intellectual groundwork for justifying scams-on-Bitcoin:

Bitcoin itself is solely a coherent singular thing through the process of ideas competing in a market for adoption.
You really are clueless.

Hard competition, but this may be the worst paragraph of all time in "Scientific American".
Here is how I think it happened:
The author of this article was predisposed to thinking that there are no biological differences.
Then she read this thing about pacesetters, in which it said that using male pacesetters would make women 'artifically faster'. She took this to mean that there is a sort of conspiracy to make women not run as fast as they can.
She could have considered that pacesetters only run the first part of the race, and that if the pace is set too high here, the runners will run out of energy later on. But she didn't consider that, because she was excited to see evidence for what she wanted to believe.
Probably she used this argument a number of times on her colleagues, with the punchline "as though women were not actually doing the running themselves", to great success. What a silly assumption, haha.

This is a complete lie. The chain is becoming more difficult to sync *if you keep up with hardware improvements* - if you don't you fall way behind.
In 2022 a Pi 4 could sync the chain in ~48 hours.
Now a Pi 5 takes over 100 hours.

Writing a long part of “God Exists” about the Argument from Scripture, I am devoting a section about corporate justice, i.e., praise, blame, justice, and punishment attaching to people acting in concert, as a corporate body. Drafting this has taught me two things I didn’t fully appreciate before. 👇
