Let this be absolutely clear: you do not have the authority to speak on my behalf or define my identity.
I am a proud Indian Muslim with Kashmiri roots. There is no contradiction between my faith, my heritage, and my national identity. I do not need permission from Islamabad to define who I am, what I believe, or where I belong.
Kashmiris are not a political tool, a propaganda slogan, or a voice that Pakistan can claim ownership of. We are individuals with our own convictions, aspirations, and identities. No government across the border has the right to assume that every Kashmiri shares its political agenda.
My future is not yours to dictate. My voice is not yours to appropriate. And my identity is not yours to redefine.
If Pakistan genuinely cares about the welfare of Kashmiris, it should respect the dignity, individuality, and right to speak for the people living on the other side.
We deserve peace, development, opportunity, security, and a future free from terrorism and violence not unsolicited lectures about who we are supposed to be.
Stop speaking for every Kashmiri. Stop treating our identity as your political property.

Seventy-nine years ago today, Indian forces landed in Srinagar, and a long night fell over Jammu & Kashmir.
For nearly eight decades, the Kashmiri people have been denied their inalienable right to self-determination, a right affirmed by the UN Security Council. They have endured repression, incarceration and immense suffering, yet their resolve has never broken.
On this solemn day, I pay tribute to the countless Kashmiri men, women and children whose sacrifices keep the flame of freedom alive. Aspirations rooted in justice cannot be extinguished by coercion.
Pakistan stands with Kashmir today and always. We will continue our moral, diplomatic and political support until this dispute is resolved in accordance with UNSC resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people.

I reject Pakistan’s attempt to speak on my behalf. My identity as a Muslim and my pride in being Indian are not contradictory they are both part of who I am. My voice, my aspirations, and my future cannot be dictated or decided by Islamabad.
Pakistan needs to understand one thing: Kashmiris are not a political prop for Pakistan’s propaganda. I am proud of my Kashmiri roots, comfortable with my faith, and happy to be part of India. Our future deserves peace, dignity, opportunity, and freedom from terrorism not lectures from across the border.
Stop claiming to represent every Kashmiri. We have our own voices, our own identities, and the right to speak for ourselves.
