A thought that’s followed me since my first digital logic class: what are we missing when we think only in 1s and 0s? That question led me through quantum physics, black holes and consciousness—and to one idea: we are literally creating the future together. tobiko-pbc.ghost.io/the-miss…

It’s getting spicy in here… you guys better buckle up.
ā€¼ļø Linux kernel TCP flaw rated 9.8 CVSS. Anthropic demonstrated an exploit that runs commands as root on servers using MPTCP. Ubuntu and RHEL still lack fixes, while Debian, Oracle and others have released patches for some versions. Details: thehackernews.com/2026/10/li…

Good advice from CZ…. I nearly stopped using email. It’s like an open sore of stupid tech now. I can’t beleive we all accept this stuff as normal…
Do NOT click links in emails. Do NOT download attachments. Even from people you trust, they may unknowningly have a virus on their computer.

Good advice…
study math. seriously. not just to pass exams or solve equations, but to understand how the world actually works. • algebra → learn to think in relationships, not just numbers • geometry → understand space, shapes, and structure • calculus → understand change, motion, and accumulation • linear algebra → the foundation of robotics, graphics, and machine learning • probability → learn to reason when nothing is certain • differential equations → model how real systems behave over time the beautiful thing about math is that everything connects. the same equations that describe a pendulum can help you understand a robot. the same optimization principles show up in physics, economics, and machine learning. and stop memorizing formulas without understanding where they come from. derive them. visualize them. break them. rebuild them. math isn’t about finding x. it’s about developing a mind that can recognize patterns, understand systems, and solve problems you’ve never seen before.

Rodger Penrose…and @StuartHameroff … rule. Listen to the wise teachers.
🚨: Nobel Prize physicist Roger Penrose claims there is no such thing as nothingness. Your soul is eternal because matter cannot be destroyed.

No. Microtubule quantum processes are the connection to Platonic spacetime geometry.
Replying to @StuartHameroff
This seem fair Stuart? Penrose anchored consciousness in Platonic geometry, escaping algorithms. But you traded that for microtubule quantum hardware, trapping the theory back in reductionist boxes.

25 years ago today, we introduced the iPod. 1,000 songs in your pocket. A small team. An unforgiving deadline. We had months to bring the hardware, software, and music experience together. Proud of what we built and that it means so much to people still today. A device that has been woven in many ways into our lives. People have filled their iPods with road trips, breakups, workouts, special occasions with family and friends. How cool that the iPod has become part of culture and our stories. 25 years, it’s hard to believe! Celebrating the team that made it happen today šŸ‘ @StevenLevy was there from the start @WIRED wired.com/story/im-still-con…

Pay attention šŸ‘ sheeples… the industries are trying to keep you all from ignorant. Don’t fall for it anymore… eat real healthy organic natural foods.
"A `freaked out' food industry, they wrote, is now secretly paying social media influencers to attack MAHA and to convince you to keep eating their processed food and by extension consuming their pesticides, and taking their drugs." "Rather than make their products healthier, they pay people to lie to you." "Pay people to lie, don’t disclose the payments, and call the truth `misinformation.'" themahareport.com/p/tony-lyo…

A good definition of a slave is someone whose tax rate is 100%. All the fruits of their labor, all of them, 100%, go to a tax authority, the slave master. On the other side of that spectrum, someone with a 0% tax rate would be someone that’s fully self-owned, someone that’s fully sovereign. They keep all the fruits of their labor and they trade them freely with other self-owned people. That’s the opposite of a slave. You could call that a sovereign. We don’t have many of those people in the world today. They’re mostly what we refer to as sovereign nations. Most of us normal people just have some effective tax rate that we pay across all the activities in our life. Buying, investing, consuming, dying, everything gets taxed at every transaction in the modern world. So if you do all that math and figure out your effective tax rate, let’s say it’s 30%, my argument would be that you now know what percentage of a slave you are. You’re 30% slave and 70% sovereign, or free man. I’ve said it this way in the past and it triggers a lot of people, but I think it’s hard to argue with. We’ve come a long way. Today, something like slavery rubs all of our moral intuitions wrong, and most normal people would consider it abhorrent. Slavery still exists, less so in the whips and chains of traditional chattel slavery and more so in the less visible version called taxation, inflation, and statism. The Bitcoin mission and the Bitcoin thesis is all about creating a world with more sovereigns and ideally no slaves at all. Ideally, we want to get to a world where inflation is at zero, the central bank has been eliminated, and the market for money, the biggest and most important market in the world, is free. People are free to choose whatever money suits them best, interest rates are discovered freely in the marketplace, and slavery is finally reduced to 0% worldwide. That’s what we call the big bright orange future.
