Surround yourself with people who see a flying car and say, "Awesome!"
Not people who see a flying car and say, "It's not actually flying" or "I don't see the point."
This post is not about cars :)

The financial advantage of owning over renting is much slimmer than most people think.

What actually happened at @Neutrl ?
We know the protocol suffered a major loss involving strategy positions. Neutrl says it wasn't a hack or smart-contract exploit.
Beyond that? A huge amount remains unclear.

Don’t drink a daily OJ, please 🙏
A glass has 12-18g fructose equivalents, a most dangerous type of sugar that promotes:
* Liver lipogenesis and fatty liver
* Higher triglycerides and VLDL
* Hepatic insulin resistance
* Uric-acid production
* Visceral-fat accumulation

Brilliant move by Canada.
Think about the innovation boost from integration with EU regulations.
Think about the strategic benefits of associating Canada with a block that is demographically strong, has fast economic growth, streamlined decision making, a powerful military, a logical command structure and is on the cutting edge of AI.
With open borders with Europe, Canada would reap the benefit of Europe’s immigration policies, who are attracting top tier talent from Africa and the Middle East with brillant social programs.
Joining the EU would improve relations with a future Democrat administration, who loves the EU more than the United States.
The possibilities are LIMITLESS if Canada unifies with Europe.

KYC is not only “Kill Your Customers”.
It tries to bind people to the land, as feudal systems once did.
People are free to move around, to live from one hotel to another. The KYC requires everyone to have a “permanent address”. It is a discriminatory policy against free people.

Hot take:
If you're under 40 with $800,000+ invested you can stop investing aggressively.
You won the money game & will likely end up with ~$10 million or more in your 60's.
Take a breather & focus less on maximizing every dollar and more maximizing enjoyment.

My dad made good money throughout his career and paid a financial advisor for over 20 years to manage it.
Since inception in 2003, his portfolio's annualized return was 7.63%. He's contributed $487,115 of his own money over that time, and it's grown to $1,531,253 today.
The S&P 500 has returned about 11.58% annualized over that same period.
Had his money simply tracked the index instead, he'd likely be sitting on somewhere around $3.4 to $3.6 million today, roughly $2 million more, with no advisor fees along the way.
