I keep seeing this line that this is all about “Jewish feelings” like some guy didn’t ram a truck filled with explosives into a Jewish daycare a few months ago. Like the bondi slaughter didn’t happen a year ago. Or the firebombing of the elderly Jews in Denver.

It’s pretty grotesque that the strongest argument against Puerto Rican statehood is “I don’t want them to be a force in federal politics.” Like…that’s bad. That’s villainous.

The new force in politics and elections is independents.
The fact independents are NOT an organized party, means we can individually do what we think is right, without regard to party politics. That is a force we have not seen before. And it is only growing as we all become increasingly disgusted by party politics.
Pushing these would backfire on Democrats.
