Earlier this week, I went before the Huntington Town Board to present my senior thesis, “Keeping Huntington Home: Proposals to Address the Housing Crisis in Huntington, NY.” This was the result of a year-long effort to identify market-oriented reforms to address housing affordability, and ultimately showed that the solution is not more government, but less. We must build housing to address this crisis, and I hope that this analysis may serve to guide legislators as they tackle this issue.
Last weekend, I attended the Annual Wellness Walk in Heckscher Park to recognize those struggling with mental health and addiction, and to support those on the road to recovery. I’m heartened by the way our community has come together to support one another and to continue the conversation and work necessary to overcome the challenges too many of our residents face.
As someone who has seen firsthand how these struggles can impact our friends and loved ones, I was proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with members of our community to support this ongoing and essential work.

Democrats are anticipating a blue wave. Long Island could be a wild card. politi.co/3UhdbSw
Very strong signals in favor of GOP wins across Suffolk and Nassau next week. Expect @DaveWeberForNY to easily dispatch perennial loser Craig Herskowitz in AD-12 and a likely upset in NY-03 with @TheMikeLiPetri.

Restoring the Republic starts with putting America back on the right track. Affordability for working families, sound money that protects the value of every dollar, and individual liberty that keeps government in its proper place.

When they said AD12 was a sleeper race, is this what they meant? Sleepy Serial Candidate Craig has slept his way across the 12th Assembly District this last month. You snooze you lose!
Vote for Dave Weber NOW through Nov. 1 during early voting, or on Election Day!

I was honored to join my friend NY Congressman @lawler4ny in his district for a great event last night with the Jewish community in Monsey. Mike is a fighter who gets things done and exactly the kind of leader we need in Congress to fight back against the radical ideas of the DSA.

The city is not supposed to spend funds on electoral campaigns so this is "get out the vote" campaign that is HEAVILY implying you should vote a certain way without saying it.
We saw the same thing with the City Council last year, and the year before.
On November 3rd, you can Vote on Faster Government.

It’s been a busy month across the 12th Assembly District! Here’s what I’ve been up to in the community:
Today, I joined the Huntington community for the dedication of Sorrentino Way and the First Annual Huntington Italian-American Festival. The crowd that packed the street this morning is a testament to the profound impact that Andrea and Luisa Sorrentino, alongside their whole family, have had on our town. They embody the Italian-American Dream in our nation: a strong commitment to both the foundational values of our nation and the family-first cultural spirit of the old country.
Huntington has always been lucky to have the Sorrentinos, including Long Island’s finest Highway Superintendent, Andre Sorrentino. I look forward to celebrating our Italian-American heritage in the Town of Huntington on Sorrentino Way for years to come.

I’m proud to be working alongside my fellow YRs in the @HuntingtonNYYR to elect Republicans up and down the ballot like @nicklalota and @DaveWeberForNY who will fight to make Long Island safer and more affordable.
Great to see so many people fired up in Huntington this weekend!
With Bruce Blakeman leading the ticket for Governor, we have an opportunity to put a check on the Hochul-Mamdani agenda and get New York back on track.
That means stopping the defund-the-police agenda and taxpayer-funded freebies for illegal migrants, making energy more affordable, and preventing a government takeover of private property and businesses.
Bruce and our entire team are committed to defending our freedoms, securing our borders, protecting our elections, and making New York safer and more affordable.
Let’s get out the vote, bring Bruce Blakeman across the finish line, and put common sense back in charge in Albany! 🇺🇸

I’m struck by the details on this guy.
Carpenter. Father. Gun owner.
This is a guy who has a stake in the world. He heard gunshots from his car and followed the shooter into the school. The nihilists who wish to destroy our world have no chance against men like him.
JUST IN: The man who stopped the school shooting in Bend, Oregon, has been identified as 36-year-old Kalub Giamanco.
Giamanco, a carpenter, was reportedly driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots.
After hearing the gunshots, Giamanco, who has a concealed carry permit, followed the suspect into the school.
He then shot and killed 16-year-old John J Griffin moments after the teen opened fire into a special education classroom.
Giamanco, who has two children of his own who attend the school, is family friends with one of the victims, a 7-year-old who uses a wheelchair and was shot in the face.
The 7-year-old survived and is in the hospital.
Three children at Silver Rail Elementary School were killed. Their ages are 5, 8, and 11.
According to Giamanco's brother, Giamanco doesn't feel like a hero because he feels guilty for not being able to save more children.
You are a hero, Kalub.

Does someone want to explain to me why New York State Transportation workers are pulling down Republican Lawn Signs off PRIVATE PROPERTY!!!!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The sign was on public land.
County maps show no private parcel at this corner (NY-25 at Juneau Blvd, Woodbury), only state and town roads and a lot owned by the Town of Oyster Bay.
