๐จ Breaking: After a three year battle, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has finally changed its policy on single-sex spaces for staff to bring it in line with the law.
It is amazing how simple it is! Now all NHS Trusts must urgently follow suit.
Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union and lead claimant in the case, said:
โThis short sentence in a policy has taken women three years of fear, humiliation and extraordinary personal sacrifice to secure.
โWe were nurses asking for the most basic protection: somewhere private and safe to undress at work, away from members of the opposite sex. Instead of listening, the Trust told us to compromise, broaden our mindset and be more inclusive. We were forced out of our own changing room, placed in inadequate facilities, threatened with disciplinary action and made to fear for our jobs and professional careers.
โVulnerable colleagues were put under intolerable pressure. International nurses feared losing their visas. Women who had experienced domestic abuse were left distressed and afraid. Four of us were reported to our professional regulator simply for speaking publicly about what was happening.
โThroughout it all, the Trust defended a policy it had been warned was unlawful. Even after the Supreme Court clarified the law, it refused to change course. It took a full tribunal judgment, an apology, damages and an enormous bill before the Trust finally wrote biological reality into its policy.
โWe welcome this change because it will protect women across the Trust, but it should never have required a three-year legal battle. No nurse should ever again be treated as we were for asking for dignity, privacy and safety.โ

Keep in mind that this isnโt uncommon, especially in autistic people, but just AGPs in general. Certain ones think that theyโre not only women, but that everyone else thinks they are too, and they walk around under this false belief 24/7. Not healthy for them or society.

Therapy First Conference in NYC this weekend features Speakers that have mutilated, through puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, hundreds of children. Erica Anderson (AGP) has had hundreds of teen patients, according to the Los Angeles Times. Laura Edwards-Leeper, founding psychologist of Boston Children's Hospital's paediatric child abusing clinic, states on her own website that she adapted the Dutch Protocol for use in the United States and continues to provide assessments determining children's readiness for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgery. Amy Tishelman, former research director at Boston Children's transgender clinic and a lead author of WPATH's international standards of care for children, helped shape the field of paediatric child abusing medicine. Each of them has apparently decided that after harming so many children that many fewer kids should be put through this profound abuse, but none have said NO CHILD as far as I can see. One of the speakers is an AGP... other's are Anna Hutchinson, Lisa Marciano and Sasha Ayad.
This is the most grotesque gaslighting by all practitioners who claim to be against mutilating kids with puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. The conference claims to want to build bridges between those who claim to be against this shite and those who have harmed children.... genuinely.

This is cruel and we should NOT be performing these surgeries. Humans are not experiments. Everything has a consequence.
I feel sad for this person and angry at all that encouraged it.
It's an insanely highly risky procedure that induces life long complications and these risks are grossly understated by so called medical professionals.
They don't properly screen people, they don't properly inform risks and there is NO medical pathway for us. Nada.
