📊 New figures show US firms are taking a higher share of national income, and it's at the expense of workers. Given that most Unite members are ultimately employed by firms overseas, it's time we demand our fair share. 📈 US firms made profits of $4.8 trillion, or 18% of US national income - the highest share since just after World War 2. 📉 But workers' share of national income has fallen to the lowest level since the 1950s. Back in the UK, the economy is currently worth a whopping £2.8 trillion and growing faster than any other G7 country.
