‼️ 🔔 ‼️A Sunday evening on a bank holiday weekend. ‼️
What extraordinary timing, @HMcEntee
I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach writing this.
☘️☘️Please share. ☘️☘️
‼️While much of the country is enjoying the long weekend, McEntee is floating the prospect of Irish troops participating in peace enforcement under an EU-led mission in Lebanon, while pressing ahead with plans to dismantle the UN authorisation safeguard in Ireland’s Triple Lock.
‼️And apparently, we are supposed to accept her assertion that Irish troops are already engaged in peace enforcement.
‼️Really, Minister? Where precisely?
‼️UNIFIL is a UN peacekeeping mission. The UN expressly distinguishes robust peacekeeping from peace enforcement, which can involve coercive military action without the consent of the parties.
‼️Which Irish units are currently conducting peace enforcement?
‼️Under what legal mandate?
‼️Against whom?
‼️And why is this message with such profound implications for Irish neutrality being advanced on a Sunday evening of a bank holiday weekend?
‼️The timing is remarkable. The terminology & vagueness is troubling.
‼️This should alarm every Irish citizen, regardless of political allegiance.
‼️Speak up. Challenge your TDs. Demand a full public debate and unequivocal answers. Irish neutrality belongs to the Irish people & the Irish people must not be presented with a fait accompli.

Surely a record low in the combined support (30%) for the two once-dominant parties, whose combined vote as recently as 2007 was close to 70%.
That + a Taoiseach from a party polling 15% =crisis of representation

Plummeting numbers for the governing parties.
30% for a combined for the once invincible Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.
It’s almost as if the Irish electorate don’t like their representatives ride roughshod over over their wishes.

I wrote this article so as to have a document that tracks the ideological takeover of the Irish media. Trans activists managed to silence the most powerful voice in Irish media when they silenced @talktojoeduffy.
I guess famous people look at @jk_rowling and @Glinner and they can’t face the onslaught.
I often wonder what’s going on in the offices of @IrishTimes and @rte when scandals such as the latest “chest-feeding males” breaks. I’ve no doubt they want to slide back into credibility and pretend “we all partied” during Woke 1.0.
But we didn’t.
People had their lives ruined. People like me had their reputations ruined.
I tracked the exact actions of the Irish Times and RTE that led us from a basically civilised society in 2017 to “chest-feeding males” in 2026

How has this been allowed to happen?
Ireland's newly qualified graduate nurses are being left completely in the dark after the HSE suddenly paused new employment contracts due to strict hiring controls. Nurses who proudly accepted job offers over the summer—like Westmeath's Della Ní Chléirigh—are now receiving alerts that their start dates are on hold until further notice. While the HSE points to a severe budget deficit and heavy reliance on agency staff to justify these measures, frustrated graduates are left wondering how a healthcare system with such massive staff shortages can turn them away. Many are now facing financial uncertainty, with some even considering moving abroad or staying on jobseeker's benefits. Healthcare unions and political representatives are rightly calling out these restrictions as reckless and dangerous for patient care.

This story in today’s @Independent_ie should make people angry.
It shows how Irish graduates are not prioritised when approx 20k nursing visas have been granted since 2020 and 700 up to April this year alone.
Why does Gov policy push our young to leave?

Fine Gael and Fianna Fail are on a combined 30% in the polls. This Govt has no mandate and should call a General Election.
