Mary Moriarty commented on contested facts in an ICE assault case her office is prosecuting. The OLPR said it’s fine because it matched the charging document and “responded to media.” That’s not protecting fair trials. That’s green-lighting prosecutors to shape the jury pool before the first witness is called. The rules exist to keep the courtroom sacred. When the enforcers shrug, the people lose.
