If Christianity is true, and Jesus is God, then Islam is necessarily a false religion. And if history has taught us anything, it is that Islam鈥檚 influence has not been without profound and troubling consequences.
God cannot therefore be indifferent to Islam鈥檚 growing influence in American politics.
A pastor鈥檚 duty is not merely to shepherd God鈥檚 flock but also to give expression to God鈥檚 heart: His sorrow, His indignation, and His righteous anger.
A pastor鈥檚 priority cannot simply be coexistence and social harmony at the expense of truth. It must be faithfulness to God and the advancement of His Kingdom.

Empathy is beautiful. It is human. But empathy without boundaries becomes a weapon against the very people extending it.
When a society becomes so afraid of being called intolerant that it cannot confront Islamist activism, defend women, protect religious minorities, or stand for free speech, this is not compassion.
It is surrender.
You can respect every human being while refusing to submit to any extremist ideology that rejects coexistence, democracy, and freedom.
Real empathy protects the vulnerable.
Suicidal empathy protects the ideology that threatens them.
We need empathy but we also need truth, courage, and boundaries.

Never in the history of mankind has a Christian been allowed to walk into Afghanistan, Iran, or any other Muslim country ruled by Sharia law and run for office on Christian values. They would be executed for it.
Yet we allow people who believe in that same system to come here, live here, and run for office to represent us.
That is not tolerance. That is national suicide.
