For the #accessibility and #design nerds among you, enjoy this treat:
@efedorenko updated Postmark’s color system and found that creating a set of colors with consistent lightness & contrast is really hard. So he built an app to make it easier. 🎨 accessiblepalette.com/

Since we’ve implemented a #4DayWeek at @Wildbit in 2017, I’ve talked to dozens of leaders who are intrigued by the idea of a shorter week, but say it would never work for them. When I ask why, they say things like...

What execs @ThisIsUncharted & @Wildbit tell me: what is most amazing is what their employees do on that 5th day. Volunteer/spend time w family/contribute to their communities. Execs say their teams are happier & bring happiness/productivity/creativity "back" to work.

I'm in favor for a 4 day work week. That would give employees a 3rd day off and give them that extra day to spend time with their loved ones and focus on other things that are important

💥 We announced an exciting change recently at Wildbit: location-agnostic pay. Everyone on the Wildbit team will be paid consistently regardless of where they live, and we’ve benchmarked our compensation to Philadelphia.

Shifting to a 4-day workweek is easy. You’re just cutting a day from your company’s typical schedule, right? Wrong! 🧵

Spent some time reflecting on everything that happened over at Basecamp, and realizing that it is important to really understand the role of leadership in a situation like this. Especially as we deliberated, and ultimately removed them from @peoplefirstjobs. A thread 👇
