The industry of politics has always existed in a culture of pervasive abuse, much like the wider world surrounding it. A man who lost a civil rape trial, is named thousands of times in the Epstein files, and has dozens of allegations against him sits in the oval office. A man who sexually harassed 13 women and then engaged in illegal retaliation against his victims just ran for mayor of NYC last year. Anyone inclined to believe Eric Swalwell and dismiss the credible allegations against him is at best, in denial of the reality of endemic abuse, and at worst, intentionally complicit in protecting Swalwell from accountability
