Do you think Labour are listening?
People who work hard should be able to keep more of what they earn.
That's how we get our economy growing - but Labour think the only answer is more tax rises.

Better roads should be a priority. That is why I was proud to launch the APPG for Better Roadsβ new report in Parliament.
When I became a Surrey County Councillor in 2021, the state of our roads quickly became one of the biggest issues in my inbox. I promised to keep fighting for better funding when I became an MP. As Chair of the @AppgRoads, I am determined to deliver on that promise.
Our report sets out how Councils could make better use of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding, money raised from development, to improve our roads.
Thank you to the @AIA_Asphalt, the Institute of Highway Engineers and everyone involved in preparing the report.

Cut fuel duty instead.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
Β
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
Β
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
Β
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
Β
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

"We must learn from our mistakes, win back trust and make people feel good about our party again."
@KemiBadenoch is right to speak of trust.
Trust is earned and this means winning the trust of the millions who have gone to Reform. This is exactly what @bluecollartory_ discussed last night with @EstherMcVey1 @MPIainDS @_lewiscocking @Lugey6 @ClarkVasey
We can win back their trust.
Standing room only for a fantastic @bluecollartory_ event on how @Conservatives can win back the trust of Reform voters.
Desperate stuff from @UKLabour.
Shadow Chancellor @griffitha has more business experience than the whole Labour Cabinet, and our Parliament is a better place with new members like @Rebecca_SPaul, @Katie_Lam_MP and @HarrietCross_MP.
#CPC26 is buzzing with energy, ideas and determination.
Only @Conservatives will deliver a stronger economy and a stronger country.

Andy Burnham has set out a socialist vision for Britain which is straight from the 1970s. It will destroy jobs & hammer working people.
His only route to achieving this is a divided right.
To stop him can the Conservatives win back the trust of voters looking to Reform?

Hertfordshire should NOT be a County of Sanctuary.
When there are so many other issues that the Lib Dem administration @hertscc could be focusing on - like the SEND system and the state of the roads - this shows they have got their priorities completely wrong.
Getting as many steps in as I can before @Conservatives party conference next week.
When you speak to people outside the political bubble they are all very impressed by @KemiBadenoch! π
Residents want their councils focused on delivering decent local services and keeping council tax low.
This sort of nonsense does nothing to improve peopleβs lives.
The pronouns βheβ and βsheβ are non-inclusive and make people uncomfortable, a council has said.
Spelthorne borough council, in Surrey, has updated its inclusive language and communication guide to advise against using them. The council, run by a Liberal Democrat coalition, has instead asked staff to use them/they.

All foreign criminals should be deported
Many use human rights and asylum claims plus endless appeals to stay here - and many go on to commit further offences including murder and rape
Our plan will end this and see them all deported

A strong country needs people to work and contribute. But Labour have made it easier to claim and harder to get a job.
I couldn't believe what I heard today at #PMQs.
An increasingly unsustainable welfare bill will damage our national security.
Like @BroxbourneBC, I never supported these plans.
This is positive news for our area and I will be doing all I can to make sure they never come back.
