Stop saying her name. Don’t tag her and give her bullshit airtime. Boost @AbdulElSayed instead.

We got your back, New York!

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

MAJOR BREAKING: The Supreme Court has just turned down the DOJ's emergency request to make California set aside about 20,000 mail ballots the administration says were likely cast by noncitizens.
Another Trump loss in the courts as he tries to rig the election.

All across the country, I’ve heard from folks who are sick and tired of what they’re seeing from politicians right now. This Election Day, we have the power to vote for the candidates who will bring about the change we need.

Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed frequently, and for the same reasons. #VOTE
No innocent man needs a pardon.
No honest man needs to buy an election.
No good man disowns his kid.
Haley Stevens & I served together with deep pride in @BarackObama Administration.
She did phenomenal work with Ron Bloom on the auto recovery.
What saddens me is in endorsing @MikeRogersForMI she is embracing the virulent bigotry that Obama overcame.
In 10 years, Trump has corroded our politics with division and poisoned our nation's soul.
This is a result of the culture he has unleashed.
When @AbdulElSayed wins Tuesday, the long journey of rebuilding begins.

This Election Day, you have the power to change the direction of this country. But nothing’s going to change if you don’t vote.
So I want you to reach out to everyone you know. Help your family members make a plan to vote. Drive your neighbors to the polls. Text your friends until they show you their “I Voted” sticker. And if anybody gives you any attitude, tell them Michelle told you to vote!
Your community, your state, and our entire country needs every single one of you to cast a ballot on November 3. We’re counting on you!
