You can’t even set a reminder over 5G on watchOS 27
You need your phone connected via Bluetooth
Which begs the question: what’s the 5g for?
Cat and mouse analogy only works when the attacker is responsible and discloses the vulnerability
A bad actor, or state, wouldn’t be so courteous
Some people say this will be the end of PHP
I don't think so because these AI-assisted vulnerability exploits will now increasingly happen to any language, any framework, any server software etc.
I mean Node patched a high security vulnerability this week too
A new era of infinite cat and mouse games between people assisted by super intelligent AI trying to hack every single app, site and server and on the other side companies trying to defend themselves from it also assisted by AI
A new era of cybersecurity has begun

The next goal is to get on the Apple keynote slides
The @RevenueCat Shipaton keynote slide is done :)
All audio after 0:15 feels ai generated
Or am I just hyper suspicious now?
What’s being said sounds like the way ai would say it.
There’s no actual joke and the observation is not the same as the initial 15 seconds actual joke lead up
Also, conveniently, no video of norm shown after 15 seconds either
I call bs
Please let me if I’m wrong
I do like how Sean takes complete ownership of this. Doesn't blame ai for taking his job but just realises it is what it is.
The post also shows us how much he cares about teaching others. To the point of making all the content available to download.
And I think you can read into this thinking it's the end. But actually. Sometimes it's important to close the door so you can focus on opening up the next.
I love his passion for helping others and his commitment to that. And I look forward to seeing where his journey takes us next.
🚨 Going out of business sale 🚨
iOS dev course sales plummeted due to AI. It costs a lot of money to host my courses online and with sales at basically $0, I've cancelled that hosting.
This closes down the site which unfortunately removes access to the courses.
I want you to have the courses you purchased forever, so I've added the ability to download my course videos so they are yours.
I've put my recent course on sale at a large discount so you can get it before it's gone and I've made old courses available for free if you want to grab those too.
The school will be online until November 24th so you have a few weeks to download these videos at seanallen.teachable.com
Thanks for learning with me and supporting my work over the years. I appreciate it.
How to build in public with copycats lurking? That’s the question
But I think if your app is so simple that someone can copy it with a prompt… then you probably don’t have an app for the App Store in 2026 anyway
And that doesn’t mean you build more complex things. It means you have something hidden behind the scenes that can’t be copied
Data, network effect or even a marketing approach nobody has considered yet. Keep that stuff private. But share the journey, the thought process, the story, the tools you’re using to build it.
The key is to build your reputation just as much as building the app itself. And I honestly believe it *has* to be part of your app strategy in 2026
I recently came to the same conclusion that @adamlyttleapps mentions in this video. If you are an indie developer you have to build your audience, you have to put the work in. Build in public is so back but we have to do it smartly to combat the copycats! youtube.com/watch?v=hqdU_wmU…
You gotta watch this in the cinema
Trust me
Don’t wait for it to be one of those cult classics that people talk about in 10 years
Experience it now for yourself
It’s… something else
The brain has a refresh rate?
Very excited to share the most important discovery of my career yet: your brain switches between a conscious and an unconscious mode ~15 times every second. Consciousness may depend not on where in the brain activity occurs but when.

Adam's new video about what's been happening in the App Store and indie dev community recently. It's a great video, and I think all devs should watch it.

Same rejection back in 2024
Immediately abandoned any further building on this thing. If it was generating revenue I would think twice
Today I removed my high ranking OB Wheel pregnancy tracking app from the App Store
With Apple’s decision to start banning peptide apps I realised this app poses too much similar risk (medical app)
I’ve never been able to successfully monetize this app. When I tried, it was an ai chatbot that could give advice to women. Apple rejected it for being “harmful” and dangerous. So I rolled it back to just an ai overview of each stage and never worked on the app again
I’ve had a few people reach out to buy it. But then: how will they monetize it? There’s a risk with selling an app and then the new person does something egregious with it. Then Apple look back at the app history and I’m associated with it.
So the only call for now: remove it from the App Store
Saying goodbye to my OG app portfolio is a hard thing to do. But we’re in a different app landscape now.
Someone needs to vibe code a flying roadster game quick stat
Do it in grok to increase chances *he* will retweet it
Pull it off and go viral easy peasy
I would do it but I promised not to do any of these silly projects for a while 😦
Ok… so there is a real hunger for this
Here’s the thing: I’m not sure how to do this except for just throwing myself into it. It’s a skillset I guess I can learn on the way?
Thinking in-person would work best. I’m not a huge fan of those zoom podcasts. Especially if you want to connect with the other person on a personal level
I don’t want an artificial over produced studio either. It’s gotta be real. Like in my ideal world I come visit people.
See how they build, get to know them, maybe spend some time more than just a wham bam interview type thing
I feel that this path we’re on… people have amazing stories. Or reasons why. And I think it’s my calling to give people that voice and share their story.
I’ve done it with my YouTube by observing what others do. Highlighting good work when I see it. But I want to push it further outside my comfort zone
I think there’s something here.
Maybe I start off with interviewing local people first? Here in Melbourne or Australia. Get a feel for it.
Then start travelling to meet others where they’re at. I don’t know.
When my web design and logo design business failed I followed this same path
Sales were drying up and you look at your expenses and think it’s time to cut back on producing ads, or whatever. You make a bunch of changes all at once d.
You think you can do it better yourself with less cost. That these parts of the machine are not necessary.
It takes a while to work out that’s not the case. The decline happens slowly and it’s hard to pinpoint exactly why.
Later you realise it was the marketing or the network effect. But by then it’s too late.
I made two bad decisions in the last two years that I didn't realize until months later.
Our revenue started dipping in late 2025, and I can see it in two upstream indicators.
- Podcast performance dropped first (2024)
- YouTube performance dropped second (2025)
Podcast dipped after I left the HubSpot podcast network. I thought it wasn't helping me (data shows I was wrong).
YouTube dipped after I stopped contracting my producer and de-prioritized YouTube. I thought it was costing more than it contributed (the data shows I was wrong).
The revenue impacts weren't immediate, so I didn't see the cause right away.
I thought I was overinvesting in these channels, but I was underinvesting.
