She has no answer. She holds her daughter close, wishing she could give her something as simple as a drink of water. 💧 This is the heartbreaking reality facing families across Gaza. Children who should be playing and learning are spending their days waiting for water trucks. Small hands carry heavy containers. Exhausted mothers stand in long lines, hoping to bring enough water home for their families. 💔 Some mothers face an impossible question: Should I give my children the remaining water to drink, or save it to prepare their next meal? No mother should ever have to make that choice. No child should have to beg for water. No family should wake up every morning afraid that their children will go thirsty. 💧 Our volunteers are on the ground in Gaza, distributing water directly to displaced families and children. We fill their empty containers with our own hands. We see the relief on mothers’ faces. We see children rushing toward the water trucks, holding bottles and containers, hoping they will finally have something to drink. ❤️ But there is something heartbreaking about every distribution. The water we deliver today will eventually run out. The little girl who receives water today may be standing in the same line tomorrow. The mother who finally fills her container today may wake up tomorrow with nothing left. And the families we cannot reach are still waiting. 💔 Please, don’t let these children be forgotten. We cannot promise them that their suffering will end tomorrow.
