$ASTS WHY THE SILENCE ON BB14–16? THE SEC FILINGS OFFER A CLUE.
SpaceX's launch VP says Florida faces a six-week gap before its next Falcon 9.
Meanwhile, AST has yet to clarify the launch vehicle or date for BB14–16.
I examined AST's SEC filings. Here's what matters.
1. THE NDA IS REAL.
AST and SpaceX signed an NDA in 2018.
Section 8 of their 2022 Multi-Launch Agreement requires mutual consent for public announcements relating to the agreement or launch services.
That consent cannot be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
2. SPACEX HAD CONTRACTUAL CONTROL OVER KEY LAUNCH DECISIONS.
Under Section 2(b), SpaceX could select the launch vehicle for certain additional launch reservations after consultation with AST.
That is not the same as AST having unilateral control over its launch schedule.
3. BUT HERE IS THE CRITICAL DETAIL.
A February 2023 Launch Services Agreement superseded the 2022 agreement.
We cannot assume the old NDA and publicity restrictions govern BB14–16 today.
The current contractual terms have not been established from these filings.
SO WHY IS AST SILENT?
Contractual confidentiality is one possible explanation. Launch-provider scheduling uncertainty is another.
But neither has been confirmed as the reason for AST's silence.
MY TAKE:
Investors deserve clarity on launch readiness, vehicle assignment and scheduling risk.
The SEC filings explain why AST might face disclosure constraints. They do NOT prove AST is legally prohibited from speaking.
$ASTS needs transparency, not speculation.

$ASTS get that ready!
Today our team lifted and installed New Glenn's second stage (GS2) at @NASAStennis. The vehicle was tandem lifted from its cradle using the Main Derrick Crane at the historic B-2 Test Stand to lift the forward end, while a mobile tailing crane simultaneously lifted the aft end. GS2 was shifted to a vertical orientation, lifted 218 feet above ground, and lowered into the B-2 test position. A great example of what Team Blue and our NASA partners can accomplish together. Final preparations for our first hotfire test are ongoing.

$ASTS I understand the frustration over Falcon 9 launch uncertainty and the company's silence.
But selling now? I'm not convinced.
AST has funding, Blue Origin remains an alternative, and competitors can't replicate years of progress overnight.
Delays hurt. They don't erase what AST has built.
NFA. DYOR.
$ASTS WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR BLUEBIRDS 14–16?
With reports of a six-week SpaceX launch pause in Florida, investors deserve answers.
Are BB14–16 launching on Falcon 9 or Starship? Is the schedule affected?
We need confirmed launch dates and vehicles, not more uncertainty.

$ASTS BREAKING: @AST_SpaceMobile added the Business Checkmark to the handle. Maybe this means they are getting serious about PR.
$ASTS IS THE TIDE FINALLY TURNING?
Up 7.6% today!
After weeks of relentless selling, failed rallies, and frustration, could this finally be the turning point?
The bulls are fighting back. Now we need to hold these gains and build momentum.
Let's make this the beginning, not another fakeout.
$VZ CEO says Starlink Mobile would take ~5 years and cost ~$400B to build while Elon Musk says $SPCX can get it done in just 2 to 3 years.
The big difference is that Verizon is estimating a traditional carrier buildout while SpaceX plans to lease existing towers and use satellites to fill coverage gaps rather than build everything from scratch.
$ASTS Should I be excited or worried? Can't really predict anything. The management's projections were pretty wrong last time. This time, I want to believe and trust the company.

$ASTS BULLISH.
Elon @elonmusk says Starlink Mobile will take another 2–3 years.
By 2028, AST SpaceMobile aims to have 50+ BlueBird satellites deployed, bringing us much closer to continuous coverage.
The D2D race isn't about who puts up grand plans. It's about who delivers first.
$ASTS has a real shot.
Elon Musk may be right about the neocloud shakeout.
AI demand isn't the problem. The balance sheets might be.
$CRWV: $35.6B debt
$NBIS: ~$10B due at maturity
$IREN: $7.7B debt
$APLD: $6.7B debt
$CIFR: $6.0B debt
$WULF: $5.7B debt
Billions borrowed to buy GPUs that depreciate faster than traditional infrastructure.
The real question isn't who builds the most AI capacity.
It's who generates enough cash to survive the debt cycle.

Replying to @chamath
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
$ASTS Another disappointing day.
Every rally seems to fade, and every bit of good news gets sold off.
How much longer are we going to watch this endless cycle of pumps and dumps?
The company keeps making progress, but the stock price tells a completely different story.
When does this finally end?
$ASTS Oh, we finally broke $40!
And the crazy part? We still need a gain of more than 230% to reclaim our all-time high.
One small victory at a time. Now let's see if $40 can hold.
$ASTS BRAZIL: THIS IS BIGGER THAN FOUR CARRIER DEALS.
My analysis of today's announcement:
1.AST secured 30 MHz of S-band authorization from Anatel.
2. Four regional carrier agreements provide secondary access to up to 20 MHz of 700 MHz spectrum, limited to their licensed areas.
3. AST plans to invest in four gateways connecting BlueBird satellites to Brazilian mobile networks.
Why does this matter?
AST is assembling the regulatory, commercial and ground infrastructure needed to turn satellite coverage into a marketable service.
Brazil offers a compelling use case: vast geography, major terrestrial coverage gaps and over 200 million mobile lines.
But let's separate progress from revenue.
No commercial launch date, gateway completion schedule, contract value or revenue commitment was disclosed.
My takeaway: A meaningful step toward commercialization, not proof of commercialization itself.
The next catalysts are satellite capacity, completed gateways, network integration and paying subscribers.
$ASTS is building market access. Now execution must follow.
