God punish everybody at Ikeja electric… they will never know peace, darkness will locate them in their homes, offices, and places of comfort… food will spoil in their freezers, may their ACs never work, may they experience exactly what we are experiencing. @IkejaElectric

Can we say Iran won? Benjamin Netanyahu's party could not win a majority in the Israeli elections, Donald Trump lost to the Democrats in blue wave that swept both houses of Congress. Now Bibi isn't sure if he is coming back to form a government, Trump has been caged.

Trump better resign than to be impeached by the Democrats who now control a majority of the US Congress.

The FBI is releasing information advising the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was responsible for the theft of more than $6 billion USD in virtual assets from cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, on or about October 29, 2026. The FBI refers to this specific North Korean malicious cyber activity as "TraderTraitor." The FBI, together with partners at the USSS and IRS-CI, has observed TraderTraitor actors converting stolen assets primarily into Ethereum (ETH). It is expected these assets will then be further laundered by converting them using DeFi and instant swap services as they prepare them for further laundering stages. How You Can Help: FBI, USSS, and IRS-CI are urging private sector entities including THORNode operators, RPC node operators, instant exchanges, DeFi services, blockchain analytics firms, and other virtual asset service providers to block transactions with or derived from addresses TraderTraitor actors are using to launder these stolen assets. A list of addresses associated with this activity is available here: fbi.gov/investigate/cyber/al…

The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away. Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.  All of New York City is mourning this tragedy.

At the Africa-Russia Summit in Moscow, something truly surreal happened. A young Russian woman approached me, visibly excited, and asked, “Oh my goodness, are you Wode Maya?” When I said yes, she could hardly contain her excitement. She told me that MGIMO University, one of Russia’s most prestigious universities, had published a book titled 100 African Leaders and Influencers, and I was among those featured in it. Honestly, I was overwhelmed. Imagine travelling all the way to Russia and discovering that a university had recognised your work enough to include you in a book celebrating 100 African leaders and influencers. I initially thought it was a joke until she showed me a digital copy. But the story didn’t end there. The following day, one of the university professors personally brought an English-language copy of the book to my hotel. Sometimes, you get so caught up in the journey that you forget how far you’ve come and how many lives your work might be touching beyond the places you have travelled. I started this journey simply wanting to tell Africa’s stories differently and change the negative narrative about our continent. I never imagined that one day, my work would find its way into a book published in Russia. I’m genuinely humbled, grateful and overwhelmed. This is bigger than me. ❤️🌍

They said African languages were too fragmented, too complex and too commercially insignificant to build advanced AI for. We disagreed. So we built it. 64 languages. 166 voices. 3 billion parameters. ONE model. Today, we are unveiling STORM-Ensemble 3.0, the most capable multilingual speech synthesis model we have built at PlotWeaver. From Yorùbá, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin to Swahili, Amharic, Wolof, Zulu, Xhosa and dozens more, STORM-Ensemble 3.0 generates speech across 64 languages, with 166 distinct speaker voices. Every voice you hear is generated by our model, not a prerecorded sample. But the real breakthrough isn't the numbers. It's what becomes possible when this technology is in the hands of people who can build with it. -African filmmakers distributing stories across languages. -Banks and telcos serving customers in their mother tongues. -Education platforms reaching more children. -Developers building voice AI products without starting from scratch. We are not building AI for African languages simply to prove it can be done. We are building the infrastructure to make our languages commercially viable at global scale. Next week, I will be speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Antigua about unlocking the Commonwealth's creative potential. This launch is a practical demonstration of that ambition. Africa must not simply consume the future of AI. We must build, own and shape the infrastructure that powers it. Watch the video. Listen to the voices. Imagine what's possible. Introducing STORM-Ensemble 3.0. PlotWeaver. Build Once. Speak Every Language. #PlotWeaver #STORMEnsemble #VoiceAI #AfricanLanguages

BREAKING: UPDATE ON EBOLA DISEASE IN NIGERIA Two suspected cases of Ebola disease have been identified in Nigeria’s North-East region. Both individuals have been isolated, contact identification and listing is ongoing, and laboratory testing is being conducted. Being classified as suspected cases does not mean they are confirmed Ebola cases; confirmation is subject to laboratory results. The public is advised to maintain good hand hygiene, practise enhanced sanitation and follow guidance from public health authorities. Further updates will be provided as verified information becomes available.
