Haley Stevens tells @kaitlancollins she doesn't agree with her fiancé after he said he's voting for Mike Rogers. "Like a lot of housholds across America, we’re a household divided. I still very much want our Democratic nominee — his name is Abdul — to win this race." #MISEN

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said he suspects “President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth were directly involved” in the disruption of Starlink service to Ukraine, though he did not provide evidence of their involvement. Coons also called for the Senate to subpoena Elon Musk to examine his decision-making. “What matters most to me is that we apply concerted pressure to get to the bottom of why this was allowed to happen, and what the consequences would be if it happens again.”

As Thune traveled to Iowa on the campaign trail's final sprint, with the outlook dimming for Senate Republicans, I asked if he would have done anything differently these last two years. "Not really," Thune said. "Not stuff that we can control." cbsnews.com/news/john-thune-…

NEW: John Thune's balancing act For nearly two years, Thune has led the Senate GOP through unforgiving terrain, working to advance the president’s agenda, while protecting the upper chamber’s independence. But with the midterms closing in, will it be enough to keep his majority?

Asked if Trump should reverse his decision to waive Russia sanctions, Susan Collins tells NBC: “Yes.” “The law is very clear that we wanted additional sanctions to be imposed on Russia... He's not going to increase the supply to the US in any measurable way, but what he’s going to do is to give more funding for Russia to use to attack Ukraine.” “I do not support his decision,” she says

On the slowdown in satellite comms service Ukraine uses to hit Russian targets, @SecWar Hegseth said Starlink determines the terms of service. “We haven't pulled anything back. There are terms of service that ultimately need to be complied to," he said. "Starlink has the option to make those decisions, but nothing's changed from our view. We haven't made any directives or anything like that. We wish the Ukrainians, obviously, success."

A technical matter may have led to airstrikes in Ukraine that were not detected, Rubio tells us. "Our understanding is that to the extent that happened on the 13th and on the 18th, it was a technical matter. It was not the result of any sort of U.S. directive not to provide advance warning of a strike," @SecRubio said in gaggle in India. "We are providing the same warnings to them now that we always have." Rubio said perhaps there was an internal issue "in terms of them being able to take the information that was being provided and systemize it and react to it. That's possible. We're looking at it."

Late last night, President Trump waived the financial punishments on buyers of Russian oil that Congress had enacted to stop funding Putin's war machine. Passing that bipartisan bill was meant to honor Lindsey Graham's legacy, as he had pushed for those sanctions. Today President Zelenskyy said it is harder now without Senator Lindsey Graham in Ukraine's corner.
Thank you for everything, Lindsey! Дякую за все, Ліндсі! 🇺🇦🇺🇸
