🚨 i built the ULTIMATE IRL networking tool
introducing Radius, built on @OfflineProtocol
walk into any room and see who's worth talking to. phones find each other over bluetooth, with no accounts and no sign-up.
📡 live radar: see everyone nearby, filtered by what you're looking for
🤖 AI match: it reads everyone's profile and project website, then ranks who's most worth meeting for you. tap anyone for a personalised icebreaker
✂️ AI summary: drop your project's website and it cuts the BS into a sentence or two on what you actually do
🐋 net worth: connect your ethereum/solana wallets and flex your net worth via @zerion, or just show your tier (🦐 to 🐋)
🏟️ the room at a glance: total net worth, a leaderboard, the category mix, and what people want and offer, so you know if it's worth staying
🧭 finder: a hot/cold screen with haptics that tracks the signal as you walk toward someone
🤝 proof of meet: both phones sign, and the stamp mints as an @eas_eth attestation on @base
📝 notes and export: keep private notes on anyone you meet, then export the list to follow up later
built for meetups, conferences, parties and hacker houses.
going to @EFDevcon Mumbai? reply and let me know. if there's enough demand, i'll open up access! 👀
Spent the weekend testing @OfflineProtocol mesh SDK's browser support.
Ended up with an @obsdmd plugin for sharing folders device to device over your LAN. Live co-editing, offline edits merge on reconnect, end-to-end encrypted with MLS. And the notes never touched a server.
Browser support lands in the SDK’s next release. If you’ve got a local-first idea you’ve been sitting on, now’s a good time to dust it off.
I self-nominated our @OfflineProtocol mesh SDK for Rust Crate of the Week yesterday
We’ve been building this for almost a year now. The SDK has grown into something that’s surpassed all our expectations, and it’s now capable of opening up a lot of possibilities for developers who want to build resilient applications across a whole range of domains. And the core of it is Rust.
The SDK lets devices, apps and agents discover each other, communicate securely and coordinate work without needing the internet. Nodes find each other over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, Reticulum or Nostr relays, pick the best path in real time, and fall back to the internet only when it’s actually there. Everything is end-to-end encrypted with MLS, and the engine is sans-I/O, so it runs anywhere from phones to embedded Linux.
I hope this opens the door to the Rust community and gets more of you looking at the code, questioning the design, and building on top of it. We’ve leaned on this ecosystem for a year. Now we’d like to be part of it, not just a consumer of it.
If you write Rust and have an evening to spare, take a swing at it. Break it, review the API and tell us where the docs lost you.

India has its problems and religious divides.
But India is also one Muslim wishing another Muslim a Happy Dussehra.
And I think that’s beautiful❤️
Happy Dussehra!
This is just PR at its best. Take it with a pinch of salt
EasyA, a platform for building blockchain and artificial intelligence applications, received an independent valuation of $1.1 billion as it prepares for a direct listing in the first half of next year.
@OllieCoinDesk reports.
Offline Protocol SDK v0.29.0 is out!
Two Raspberry Pi 4s, a Mac and an Android phone formed a mesh and exchanged end-to-end encrypted messages (MLS) over BLE with no internet connection!

Offline Protocol supports physical operations across industries where people, machines and software need to coordinate without internet.
One question we often received was, "Does Offline Protocol work for our industry?"
So, we rebuilt the Offline Protocol homepage around a single living panorama, full of real workflows and live customer stories behind it: Airports, warehouses, EV chargers, wind and solar sites, drone fleets, venues, robots, field crews.
Our learning from customer interactions is that physical operations don't happen in one app or one network. Ground crews hand off turnarounds. Warehouse systems share task progress. Field teams pull equipment history on site. Drones exchange mission updates. Offline Protocol gives those devices, apps and AI agents one coordination layer: identity, edge sync, encrypted messaging and nearby service calls across whichever local, mesh, gateway or cloud path is available.
Less custom integration.
Fewer cloud round trips.
Faster answers where the work is.

How the SIR deletions affect the Bengal election results? Were certain categories of voters targeted and if so, what were the consequences?
Does the analysis of Bengal elections suggest any lessons for the forthcoming state elections?

It is kind of jarring to have people from my own country shit talk me, circulate screenshots of my posts, and tag the police to arrest me.
All because I'm trying to provide a way for people to communicate with each other.
No one wanted to delist our app when people used it during multiple flash floods in India this year for emergency response, or during the monsoon cyclones, or during earthquakes and emergencies when nothing else worked, or even during all the concerts and events this year where we helped people find their friends and go home safely.
No one tagged ministers to ban us then. Then what is so different about this moment? When the internet is turned off, wherever that might be, people still need to find their families, call for help, and tell someone they're alive. That's all we're trying to provide.
If you don't think that's important, that's okay too. I hope you or your loved ones never find themselves helpless and unable to reach each other, because it really sucks.
The bot armies and IT cell anonymous accounts don't scare me. I'm not doing this for you.

Communication is a right, not a privilege.
But connectivity isn't always guaranteed. Networks go down from natural disasters, censorship, festivals, and in the crucial moments when people come together. During these times, we still need to reach out to each other for support, safety and information.
That’s why we built Fernweh: private messaging that works with or without internet or cellular service.
We will always stand for your right to stay connected.

Internet turned off by the government.
In the capital city of the world’s largest democracy.
This is why we built Fernweh. An encrypted everyday messenger that works without internet so you can reach your peers when you need it most.
