It’s not just what is said, it’s also what’s left out. The mainstream reporting (or lack of) on the hunger strikers has been shocking. This is just one example of an attempt to minimise the struggle and shape the narrative. Follow @Prisoners4Pal

I genuinely cannot understand how generation above me ended up here. We grew up idolising David Bowie and through him discovered Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. We lived through punk and post punk smashing gender norms in public. We watched Prince blur masculinity and desire. We danced to Boy George. We worshipped Grace Jones. Then came the flamboyance of the eighties where androgyny excess and self invention were celebrated. Gender bending was not a threat. It was art. It was freedom. It was cool.
So how did the same generation become so hostile to people simply existing outside rigid boxes. How did we go from celebrating difference to fearing it. This backlash does not come from culture or history. It comes from forgetting who we were and what we stood for. None of this is new. Get over it.

Sales will take place via the Merchandise Shop on the Des Kelly side of the stadium accessed via St Peter's Road.
The first 100 sales on each day will also receive a free limited edition Kneecap pin badge and a host of other activities will take place at Dalymount Park.

Old enough to remember Keith O'Brien / Woods claiming Catholics weren't really discriminated against in the north to a British fan of loyalist agents Billy Wright and Jonny Adair.
It's no wonder both he and the NP hide the role he plays in the party.

being an irish nationalist is when you debase yourself prostrating before the richest man on earth who is also a very bad faith loser to discredit Ireland in front of the world

His understanding and framing of what culture is in reality. His cooption of left wing analysis of capitalism only to suggest those can be resolved via laissez-faire capitalism. His absolute partitionist blind spot on the north of the island and our history. It's all really weak.

You would have more credibility Mark if you critiqued the substance and not the man. I disagree with him on Tara.....but so what. "He's a gobshite...." it ain't going to win many arguments.

If you’ve a problem with countries withdrawing from a music competition because one of those countries is committing genocide and dismembering children on a daily basis, you need to take a good look at yourself.

It was a response to a recent vicious raid by Israeli forces on the offices of the @PGFTU2 & an effort to build for the @ipsc48 demo the next day.

Having seen the hated and venom directed at some centres this year hopefully we can once again cheer up some kids in international protection and homeless accommodation this Christmas.
