As the #PublicOrderBill came into effect today, I reiterate my grave concern about its impact on #civicspace in the #UK.
The bill disregards international calls for its amendment in line w/ international #HumanRights standards, and should be revoked.
#UK - Colleagues & I raise concern over the #PublicOrderBill which could result in grave restrictions on the exercise of FoAA rights.
“No person should be held criminally, civilly or administratively liable for the mere act of organizing or participating in a peaceful #protest”.
