Really disappointed with @CromaRetail. Ordered a new Philips Sonicare 4300 but received a clearly used toothbrush. Sharing pictures. Please resolve this urgently.
No condemnation from the political and societal class in India for brutal murder of reportedly 6 people, two of whom were children, one of whom was 8-month old child in Manipur because you see them as a mere statistic and they don’t have the money to pay to people to raise their voices for justice.
Why kill a child? What was the child’s mistake?

A May 3 special on #Manipur by Patricia Mukhim @meipat needs some debunking.
She writes, "Justice is what eludes the Kuki-Zo community, who have been at the receiving end of the conflict."
Here's what you missed out on, Patricia.
* From May 3, 2023, to April 27, 2024, 102 Meiteis and 114 Kukis lost their lives. The difference between the two is very small. The largest Meitei village, Khumujamba Leikai in Churachandpur, has been completely destroyed.
* What about Kuki terrorists who have been attacking Meitei minorities in the Kuki-dominated hills, sparking retaliatory attacks. These attacks have resulted in the destruction of 4792 houses. By using propaganda, any Meitei retaliation is portrayed as an attack on minorities.
* The violence erupted on May 3 from Churachandpur, a Kuki-Zo dominated area when the All Tribal Students' Union took out a Tribal Solidarity Rally.
* So, how did the Kukis end up on the receiving end of this conflict when they initiated it on May 3?
OK. I get your tribal solidarity and Christian alignment.
"The Kuki-Zo people travelling to and from the hill districts of Manipur have to use the Senapati-Kohima- Dimapur road or the dilapidated Aizawl road."
What about focusing on the Meiteis too who are restricted from venturing beyond Kangpokpi into the hills? They have stakes and livelihoods in those areas.
"Undoubtedly, the issue of illegal influx needs better handling in the manner that Mizoram has done, which is to keep the migrants camps and ensure that they return once the political climate in Myanmar improves..."
How ironical that Patricia does not highlight the paradox of Mizoram. The shared Zo identity sees Mizos offering hospitality to Chin and Kuki-Chin refugees from Myanmar and Bangladesh. However, this same hospitality isn't extended to the Chakmas, who are concentrated in the south of Mizoram, bordering the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh to the West and the Chin and Arakan provinces of Myanmar to the East. Despite the humanitarianism and goodwill shown by Chakmas, Mizo groups like the Young Mizo Association and Mizo Zirlai Pawl have raised slogans labelling Chakmas as illegal foreigners and demanding their expulsion from Mizoram. This information comes from a report by The Centre for Governance Studies.
Such write ups from senior journalists appear opportunistic and insensitive.
Agree with her point, though, that we have not learnt the art of political dialogue.

The spokesperson of ITLF stated in an interview, “we are just roaming and not crossing borders illegally.”
I think they won’t care much about the impact as for them it is just another transit of migration. Once they are done with it, they will migrate to another healthy place and settle there until they exploit it completely before moving on to another.

*Unnatural growth of 996 New Villages Due to Illegal Immigration: Threat to Indigenous People and National Security*
Will anyone accept the unnatural growth of new villages and population, causing massive changes to the demography in their own state or country due to the influx of illegal immigrants?
We're confronting a serious issue within our nation, especially in Manipur, where several new villages have emerged due to a massive influx of illegal immigrants from Myanmar since 2006 till date. During this period, massive forest cover have been destroyed to establish settlements as well as carry out poppy plantations.

An article was published by @AlJazeeraWorld @AlJazeera by a writer who hates the establishment.
Political wars cannot be won on international platforms. Especially at the cost of maligning your country and those who protect it. It makes you no different from the others.
And I am pointing out to all those who endorsed the article as well.

It's high time for concrete actions against the Kuki Terrorists who are attacking National Infrastructures and Armed Forces with impunity, instead of the same old pressers.

THERE SHOULD BE A LIMIT IN SPREADING LIES OVER THE DEAD BODIES OF THE FALLEN CRPF JAWANS IN LINE OF THEIR SERVICE TO SECURE THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF OUR PEOPLE.
When history understands them, their accountability will be only in hell.
Their future generations will spit over their grave.
They will never achieve salvation for their lie-full sin.
In today's press release, Kuki Inpi's blatant disregard for truth reaches new heights. Their unfounded statements paint a disturbing picture of deceit, as they shamelessly propagate falsehoods to the world. While they spin their web of lies, the CRPF and state force convoy are left to deal with the harsh reality on the ground, retaliating against the very terrorist camps that Kuki Inpi conveniently ignores. Despite the glaring inconsistencies, Kuki Inpi persists in their narrative, showcasing a troubling lack of integrity. Their actions speak volumes about the depths to which some will sink to manipulate public perception.

We were expecting a superior version compared to this. The Oja we are familiar with is far better. Why bother arguing with someone who will never alter their opinion? It's like wrestling with a pig - you both end up covered in mud, but only the pig likes it.
