NEW: Israel snatched an American teen from his West Bank home in the middle of the night — days before his birthday & during national exams.
He's been held for 3 months with no charge.

Israel Has Kidnapped Another American Teenager
Abdalkareem Issa Ahmed Safi has Texas roots but languishes in a notorious jail, one more victim of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cruel impunity. Donald Trump, meanwhile, is losing some of his most ardent fans, writes @prem_thakker.

The Trump administration is escalating its war on our First Amendment right to dissent.
The State Department is making blacklists of Americans, and smearing everyone from Black Lives Matters protestors to our labor unions and the co-founder of Ben & Jerry's as foreign agents. It's pathetic and it's dangerous.
We must all reject this attempt to revive McCarthyism and COINTELPRO to crush our resistance to fascism.
From the unjust sentences of the Prairieland protestors to the attempt to extradite Fergie Chambers, we must fight back against these attempts to destroy our right to protest and organize.

⭕️ Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has canceled his trip to New York for next week’s UN policing summit, ministry sources told Haaretz, after protest plans and calls from human rights groups to investigate and arrest him.
The Hind Rajab Foundation and Center for Constitutional Rights had urged New York Attorney General Letitia James to open a criminal investigation into Ben-Gvir ahead of the July 7-8 visit, and an open letter with thousands of signatures demanded his prosecution for war crimes. It is his second canceled US trip in weeks: Israeli media reported last month he scrapped a visit after the US embassy required him to appear in person and provide fingerprints for a visa.

Bezalel Smotrich marched in NYC today.
He called for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza, leads the settler movement stealing Palestinian land, and faces a possible ICC arrest warrant for crimes against humanity.
Every elected official should condemn his presence here.

This is the due process the administration is offering me, corrupt and unprecedented:
"Internal board documents obtained by The New York Times show that the case was considered high priority even before the board officially received it.
“Please process as quickly as possible,” said another note, from October. Another document shows that the court’s chair — its highest ranking member — oversaw the case from early on."
This story proves that the Trump administration's treatment of my case has always been corrupt and retaliatory. They put me through a sham immigration process while guaranteeing the outcome in advance.

If you were outraged when Trump tried to silence Jimmy Kimmel, you should be outraged by what they're doing to students who spoke out against the war in Gaza.
Now they're firing immigration "judges" who refuse to go along with their illegal scheme.

I volunteered with @DCIPalestine in 2009 & was a staff member from 2013-2024. Many days over those years this felt inevitable yet we all persisted despite absolute Israeli impunity. I’m sad for the loss of what was built & haunted by the violations Palestinian kids endure today.

People like Mahmoud Khalil and Leqaa Kordia continue to be persecuted for speaking out against the genocide.
I was glad to meet with Mahmoud to hear updates on his and Leqaa's cases and see pictures of his newborn, Deen.
We need justice and freedom for Mahmoud, Leqaa, and every other student targeted by our institutions for exercising their rights.

Leqaa Kordia has spent nearly a year in an ICE prison for exercising her First Amendment rights in NYC & speaking out against the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
She was hospitalized after suffering a seizure. Now she's back in detention.
This is cruel & unnecessary.
Release Leqaa now.

No one should lose a child to violence.
I was deeply impacted by the Palestinian American fathers who met with me to talk about their children who were violently killed by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

I've introduced the Block the Bombs Act with 21 of my colleagues to withhold certain offensive weapons that are supplied by the U.S. to Israel and demand Israel’s compliance with U.S. and international law.
Block the Bombs is the first step toward real oversight and accountability for the consequences of a military campaign that has leveled Gaza, displaced millions, and killed a reported 54,000 Palestinians.
Hear directly from me about the importance of this bill.
