Good morning.
Last day of the Kickstarter campaign.
If you haven't yet, check out the project page.
I talk about the books and the launch party. We have pictures of the various kinds of excellent swag we have available: maps, caps, mugs, patches, shirts, and more.
We have cool intangible things: you can get written into the books, or drawn in as an illustration.
15 hours to go.

COUNTDOWN: TWENTY-FOUR HOURS TO GO
I don't know if you've noticed, but I've been running a Kickstarter campaign. Turns out, it's been successful; we funded right away, and have continued to accumulate pledges steadily for the month since. As of now, we're over $63,000.
The purpose of Kickstarter campaign was to put my epic American fantasy trilogy The Witchy War back into print in a new hardback edition, and also to launch a new publishing company, Hapax Press.
Twenty-four hours from now, it ends.
I will livestream the last four hours on YouTube, starting at 8 pm eastern / 6 pm mountain. I'll have on the first squad of Hapax Press writers to talk about the Kickstarter, Hapax, their books, and more, and to take questions from the audience.
Here is the link to tomorrow night's livestream:

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Tolkien no dijo ni creía que seguir la política y las noticias desperdicia la vida. Al contrario, leía tres periódicos diarios y declaraba su fuerte interés por los acontecimientos actuales.

warcraft removing the racial weapon bonuses is the worst change so far to wow forever
racial weapon bonuses are absolutely core to racial differences, value of different items in different playthroughs, and just pure vibes
it must be reverted, it's a huge mis-step

Day 13 of asking the devs to fix dungeon XP.
Well, someone finally brought the receipts for y’all anti-dungeon haters. 📊😂
A player on Reddit tested dungeon XP vs. open-world mob grinding in WoW Forever.
Blackfathom Deeps: 6,620 XP/hr
Open-world mob grinding: 15,780 XP/hr
That’s 2.38x MORE XP from killing mobs outside. Not questing, just straight-up grinding mobs.
And that’s WITHOUT counting the time it takes to find a group as well as waiting for the group to be at the dungeon. Include that, and the gap grows to over 3x. (Random estimates but ya)
So remind me again why dungeon XP needed to be nerfed this heavily??? 🤔
Nobody is asking for dungeons to replace the open world. We’re asking for BOTH to be rewarding.
When solo grinding mobs is this much more efficient than running a dungeon with four other players, something needs to change.
At this rate, dungeons will continue to be 1 and done and have 0 incentive to go back.
Revert dungeon XP. Stop punishing group content.
